「Our family of 5 enjoyed this home. Great location, plenty of room for us, and a well maintained home. We brought our boat and took it to coffee, dinner, ice cream, etc. Swam and fished all day from the dock. Thank you!」

「We had a great stay, nothing to complain about. The place was clean, well stocked kitchen (everything worked), comfy beds and very accommodating! We enjoyed some of the games/puzzles. Kayaks were fun. My only suggestion to owner/property manager is PLEASE remove the invasive vines covering the trees before it kills them. From the water, it definitely takes away from the beauty of this house compared to neighboring properties. Yes, there are a lot of stairs to the dock but we all managed...

「Stayed in Salem right outside of Ranoke for the USA finals National Mnt Biking races for 2025. Location was quiet, clean, modern, nice small cottage set up for family of 4. Good sized front yard area for yard games. Beautiful rose bushes on side of house that had lots of birds and bees visit. Close enough to hiking or biking trails near by via short drive and just far enough away from city to have a quite outside of Ranoke city area.It was too hot for us to use the bonfire but did enjoy the...

「Lovely little cottage with a variety of goats, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. Kim offered two bags of feed to hand out to the animals. Wifey and daughter loved it. Kim and husband were very responsive to our communications. We didn’t take in much of the area, we traveled for business. Nice mall and restaurants within driving distance, Roanoke about 15-20 minutes away. Overall it was a nice, cozy stay.」

「We had a lovely week at this adorable little farmhouse which has been very nicely renovated and decorated. The views of the Blue Ridge and horse pasture and visits from local wildlife (groundhogs, deer, birds) made for a very peaceful stay. Watching summer thunderstorms, dramatic clouds, and rainbows form over the mountains was an added bonus. The kitchen is well-equipped, beds are comfortable, and the place is spotlessly clean. Would definitely return! 」

It is ideally located to serve as a launching point to enjoy the endless hiking options and activities in the area and the AT is in the backyard! The hosts are so nice and gracious and the incredibly clean cottage has everything you need and more. The grounds are beautiful and extremely quiet. Between the peacefulness, beauty and super comfortable bed, it was the best sleep we had in a long time. Cannot wait to return! 」
