"The property is straight out of the nineties but very well maintained. There's a very nice breakfast nook on the bottom floor and they offer continental breakfast (boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, danish) The coffee was very good. A few things to keep in mind...the rooms on the bottom floor are hard to get into because the step up is quite deep. The hotel has a sloped ramp that they were happy to bring over so we could get in and out. The toilets are quite low so are a bit of a challenge to use. Also, bring extra plugs and such for your electronics. There are outlets but probably not the amount necessary for today's needs. Our room also has a small dorm style 'fridge that kept things quite cold. Keeping mobility issues in mind, this is truly a gem and the price is quite reasonable."

"The house was cozy, clean, and inviting. David welcomed me to bring my dogs. There were several others in the neighborhood that have dogs and were friendly. This house was comfortable and in a peaceful place that was an easy drive to hiking, beach visits, shops and other adventures. I wish I could have stayed longer and would certainly keep this place on my vacation list for the future. Thank you David for sharing this wonderful little place!"

"Wonderful pet friendly rental with amazing views of the tidal river and marsh with amazing wildlife- we saw many herons and cranes, as well as other birds and deer. We enjoyed exploring the river at low tide and took the 5 minute walk to the beach several times during our stay. Quick drive to shops and restaurants. Great communication from the property manager as well."

"Lovely large home, well equipped, right on the water. If you want to relax, watch the seals or sunrise, and have peace and quiet, this is the perfect spot. Lindsey also has a few bicycles and kayaks that came in very handy!I did have a few issues at the house - a slider that wouldn’t lock, broken dishwasher (missing wash arm), broken toilet, dirty grill, lack of towels, etc. Lindsey was very responsive and took care of most things, but the dishwasher and slider remained broken throughout my stay. Nevertheless, I would absolutely return to this house with its breathtaking views and on-ocean location. There’s nothing better than going to sleep to the sounds of the ocean!"

"A sweet coastal cottage. Spotless and bright with surround windows and a Tidal view. Comfortable beds and furniture with a full kitchen. Cute front porch to have coffee or evening drink. Perfect place to walk or ride bikes to very close beach. Fully equipped with all summer necessities. Wonderful hosts!! Perfect locations to lots of foodie places, Art and abundant natural beauty. Explored Kennebunkport and many others small Maine towns. Went into Portland took the ferry to peaks island. Then after a day exploring back at the cottage took an outdoor shower while watching the sunset. Loved it all so much we rebooked for next year. Maine is my new favorite state ❤️"
