Home away from home
After 40 years of visiting Amish country this was my first stay for more than a few days at a time and in a VRBO vs. a hotel. The location and whole experience was wonderful. Thank you Linda!

Gordonville house
My sisters and I spend the last weekend of September together, trying different houses each year, and this house in Gordonville was one of the best ones yet. It was VERY clean, very accommodating,and welcoming. Linda is fantastic, she got back to me right away with any questions or concerns we had. We probably will be visiting again.

Great home in a great area.
We had 4 adults and 2 children. The house was very roomy, clean and on a beautiful street. It’s a main street, but we loved watching the horse and buggies coming down the street and seeing the Amish children going to school. My granddaughters really enjoyed it. There was a large yard for the kids to run around. We highly recommend this home.

Weekend getaway before school starts
This weekend was the second time we have stayed in this home. We love it! The location is perfect for everything we do in the area (Dutch Wonderland, shop, eat delicious food... haha). The home was clean and had everything we needed. With our two families staying together, we had plenty of room for us to space out when the kids needed a break. Ms. Linda is a sweetheart and made sure we were comfortable. We will definitely stay at this home again.

Great Stay
This property was great. The house was clean and well stocked. The location could not have been better. We really enjoyed the front porch as well as the yard. We were able to go and see everything we wanted to. The best part of our stay was meeting Linda and Jonas. The Shoofly pie was delicious and the soft pretzels were the best thing ever. Thank you so much for having us over. It was definitely the highlight of our stay. I simply love my amish broom we bought. The best broom I have ever used. Thank you Linda and Jonas for opening your home up to us and for a wonderful week.

This property is wonderful! Check in was effortless. The house is very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms are spacious, and the living area is very comfortable. Perfect location, nearby several attractions and things to do and see. We would definitely stay here again.

Making memories!!!!
Everything was wonderful. Linda was wonderful to. She introduced herself right from the beginning told us she was two doors down, if we needed anything. The location was perfect you could sit in family room and watch horse and Buggies go by. It was so good to be back after after not coming back up since my Dad died 3 years ago. He loved coming to Lancaster all the good food and the Markets.

We were only there in the evening it was nice and quiet the owners were very nice and helpful and we came back one evening and had a pie waiting for us. Would have love to have set outside in the evening but it was cold and raining that happens some time. Would stay again.

Family Getaway
Lovely home and wonderful hosts! Great location and very peaceful. We love staying in Lancaster and this was our first time staying in this house and it is my new favorite place to stay. The house is spacious and we enjoyed the Amish treat left for us. We also enjoyed having a chance to spend time with Linda and Jonas. Every minute of this trip was a blessing and we can’t wait to go back!

Labor Day weekend break

We absolutely LOVED staying here!! My family and I were surrounded by Linda and her family! We loved getting to know them! Our kids enjoyed playing with Linda’s nephews. The house was beautiful and immaculate! We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the buggies go by! The location was perfect, close to everything!!! Fabulous family getaway!
A true home away from home. Linda was wonderful and responsive. Loaned us a waffle maker to make kids vacation dreams come true. Perfect location for buggy watching and central to many of the local attractions. Couldn’t ask for more!

Heart of Lancaster County
We were in town for a family reunion and wanted a place that would accommodate my immediate family. Linda’s house was perfect! I was so happy to show my children around my hometown and have a lovely, scenic place to stay. The shoofly pie was such a nice treat. Highly recommend this property.

When It Rains
It rained really hard for two days. It was nice to have a warm and relaxing house to just kick back in. We met the property owners and they are very nice people. We enjoyed talking to them. If you’re wondering about “David” at Sight and Sound, it’s a must see.

Amazing place to stay near Kitchen Kettle Village & Surroundings
We planned a girl's weekend and selected this home to stay in. My friends and I couldn't have been more pleased! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect! Our hostess allowed us an early check in if needed. The code was programmed into the door and was easy to use so we could access whenever we arrived. Linda even had a yummy shoo fly pie waiting on the counter. The home was very warm and inviting. Beautifully maintained and decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with basically anything you might need or forgot. I can't say enough about this home. The location was close to Kitchen Kettle Village (and by close...maybe a 2 minute drive!!!) so if you are familiar with that area, this home is very convenient. We had the pleasure of meeting our hostess, Linda and she was quite simply...LOVELY! I'm so glad we were able to meet her face to face since we were messaging up until that point. I can guarantee we will be staying here again and telling all our friends. This is definitely a rare find!

The absolute BEST place to stay
The house is in great condition and feels very comfortable. The kitchen has all the tools you need to prepare meals at home but it’s very close to restaurants if you like to take a vacation from cooking. The proximity to grocery stores, farm stands, entrainment, shopping, etc is excellent. There is a wonderful front porch for drinking coffee and watching the buggies pass. We felt at home and Linda is an excellent host! She was quick to respond, very organized and made us feel like old friends, in addition to valued customers. We will definitely stay here every time!

This is a lovely home with the most welcoming host. There was plenty of room for everyone to come together and yet still have thier own space and privacy. The home is very clean and the neighborhood was peaceful and centrally located to all the area attractions. Highly recommend this property to couples and families alike.

Great Spot
The hostess Linda met us shorty after arriving and was very nice. Answered all my questions and was very welcoming. The house was perfect, neat, clean, and had all the items we needed for a great stay. The house has several bedrooms and are all very cozy. At this home you are literally minutes (5-15) away from all the attractions, shoppes, markets, and dining options. We will be back. Thank you Linda.

Beautiful home & location
The home was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The location was perfect! We enjoyed watching the buggies from the front living room and watching the Amish children going to and from school that was located behind the home. The hosts were absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed the homemade shoo fly pie as well as a visit from the homeowner. We traveled with a toddler who enjoyed the toys and story books in the house as well as being only a short walking distance to the park! Thank you for sharing your home. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Home
We loved every aspect of our stay. Linda was the most gracious host. We enjoyed the close proximity to the local tourist attractions and yet the house was situated to allow for a country vibe. Be sure to also check out the Perfect Piece store in town, they have the most beautiful dinning farm tables.

Peaceful Oasis in the Country
We enjoyed our family gathering and staying at this home so much we have already booked again! The home is cozy and welcoming. Clean and spacious to fill your farm house dreams. Our host took the time to answer all of our questions and was kind enough to share her home as well as a yummy Shoofly Pie. I would book this home 100 times over!

Perfect Home
As soon as I walked in, I felt home. There's something about walking into a kitchen that makes you feel comfortable. Our trip was for a funeral, but we made the best of it. The dining room table was the hub when family came to visit, and the porch off the kitchen was excellent to enjoy morning solitude. All bedrooms were perfect, the kids enjoyed the toys in the home. My family enjoyed the comforts of the home, we all had a special place. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging laundry outside. I will surely enjoy making future plans to come and have family time again in this beautiful home. The hostess was friendly, answered questions, and we all enjoyed the shoofly pie. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Family Weekend Trip
There were 9 of us that stayed recently(we were very comfortable). The home is so warm and cozy, has a home like feeling. Located close to many attractions, shops and park is a 2 minute walk. Thank you so much for the shoo-fly pie!! Host was so nice and accommodated our request. Large picture windows give full access to the road(really not that busy)to watch the horse and buggies. Our stay was so sweet. Everything was very clean. I felt like I was at my grandmother's house. The house was fully stocked with all necessities and extras, which was very nice. We loved looking out the front at the people going by and out the back to the garden. It had a very calming atmosphere. We also really appreciated the shoe fly pie, which we'd never had before and was very good. We really enjoyed visiting with Linda, the owner. That was a special treat. Would stay here again.

You can't go wrong by renting this home!
The house was absolutely perfect for our stay. The location is literally 2 minutes (if that) away from the Kettle Kitchen Village, the Green Dragon Auction and Flea market (open only on Fridays) was a 20 minute drive, the outlet malls are about a 10 - 15 minute drive depending on which one you go to, and you also are staying in the heart of Amish country where you can watch out the front window to see and hear the Amish horse and buggies passing by. We were even blessed enough to have an Amish visitor come with her horse and wagon selling baked goods on Saturday and invited us to stop over to their house for a visit. Linda the host and owner of the house was a FANTASTIC communicator and very good at responding to any questions I had. I will ABSOLUTELY be a repeat visitor.
