The space
The house is spacious with cozy and warm spaces for the winter. There is a large eat-in kitchen as well as a spacious dining room. There are two living rooms: one with views onto a deck and garden. You can use the fire pit and hot tub for apres ski and evening relaxation. There is a wood burning stove in one living room and the other is a 7 windowed room with sofa and TV. Three bedrooms upstairs and a further renovated attic on the top floor. House is well heated and in the summer the sleeping rooms all have window A/Cs and there are fans. Surrounded by 2 acres it is a perfect retreat, but also with easy access to whatever you need in near by in Goshen and Litchfield. There is a trampoline for kids outside and plenty of games inside. Renovated with a modern touch but still maintaining farmhouse style. Colorful, but not cluttered. A perfect week or weekend get away in any season. Surrounded by local farms, including almost adjacent flower farm. Great for kids and families, and comfortable enough for two families to share and not feel on top of each other. Pastoral views up the hill and nearby farm, and open vistas of sunsets and sky. Washer and Dryer in the basement, outdoor shower for your return from the lake or your dip into the hot tub.
