「Lovely staff, a radiator sprung a leak in the bathroom which was temporarily sorted, and imediately repaired the following day. Quality full English breakfasts and exceptional evening meals. I highly recommend The White Swan in Lowick.」

「This historic hotel has loads of character and is a marvellous central location. I would suggest that it needs some decorative TLC but my room was large and with 2 huge floor to ceiling windows that looked out onto the main street. Room and ensuite were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I met some of the hospitality staff and they were welcoming and cheerful. I would definitely return.」

「We stayed in off season. When we arrived at 4 pm, nobody was there. Another guest let us know the keys were just behind a flower box. Got in, lovely room, clean, with plenty of amenities. Good water pressure. My only wish would be that they provide wash cloths, as well as towel racks or some form of hanging and drying our towels. There not a single hook or rack in the entire room. 「Booked 2 Rooms & when we arrived the Host said she wasn't letting out Rooms anymore so we were stuck at 7.30pm with nowhere to stay. Having trouble getting a Refund from you. Definitely wouldn't recommend.」

「Really enjoyed our night in the blue bell , lovely room and a very comfortable bed. Very nice meal in the evening and a lovely breakfast in the morning what’s not to like so when we find ourselves hiking in the area again we will definitely be looking to stay a night or two in the Blue bell」
