"My three adult daughters and I stayed at the retreat for 2 nights and had a nice time. The breakfast was absolutely the highlight of our stay! The food was high quality and there seemed to be a bit of everything of everyone. The staff were lovely and helpful, always answering our questions and trying to help in any way that they could. We were a bit disappointed with our room. It seemed a bit tired and cramped for the price we paid. There were no drawers or cupboards to put our clothes in, so the room became quiet cramped for four women. The bathroom also had limited space to arrange our toiletries. The onsen is beautiful and clean and we enjoyed that very much. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but probably would chose a newer and more modern retreat next time."

"Absolutely beautiful and well worth the money to splurge on! We took advantage of a lot of what the hotel had to offer (for example, massages, facials, hotel restaurant, and even the nearby outlets). They do come at an extra reasonable price! Hotel is also beautiful and had a great view of MT Fuji, we were lucky to see it on a day it was clear during the morning hours. It is on the other side of Mt Fuji which if you are trying to visit Fuji Q Highland, Narusawa Ice Cave, or anything near Kawaguchiko, or anywhere near that area, you will need to ride a two hour or less bus ride that operates on a limited schedule so plan accordingly beforehand, otherwise, completely worth it!"

"Lovely spacious hotel with a traditional Japanese onsen. Staff were very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, hotel does not accommodate vegetarians very well. Though there is vegetarian options for breakfast, there is nothing available at other times. Additionally they have eco housekeeping policy where they just leave fresh towels and toiletries outside your room. Any trash has to be left outside the room for it to be cleared. "
