We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, spacious design, and comfortable furniture! We didn't use the hot tub as we expected to but hit up the (sort of) nearby Krauma hot springs. “Cabin well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Had a bit of a time figuring out how to work the cooktop stove ( need to place the pot or pan on the burner first before the heat will come on). Owners very quick to respond to any questions. Overall a nice stay.”

“If you want solitude this is your place to escape all the machinations of our world. Property owner provides a plethora of things for you to do. You can grill outside on the deck, watch the stars or aurora, read a book inside the cozy cabin, play a deck of cards, cook almost anything in the fully stocked kitchen or just cozy up on the sofa or loft. Our only concern is the long 7km drive on the gravel road to reach the property. Can be a bit bumpy if you’re only used to smooth tarmacs. ……

“This cabin makes great use of space and we had a wonderful time with our 2 kids. The hot tub has an amazing view and although there are nearby cabins, it felt very peaceful.”

“Erla's cozy red cottage was in the perfect place for us to get to after arriving early in Reykjavik. We were easily able to get to the things we wanted to see and do...Borgarnes and the Snefellsnes Penn. The house was spotless, the living area was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We so enjoyed the hot tub after a long day witnessing the magic of Iceland. We would have stayed longer if there had been more days available.”

“We stayed in this house for a week in February to have the chance to see the northern lights and get to know Iceland. Unfortunately it didn't work out with the northern lights, so it was all the nicer to spend time in this beautiful house with our friends. “The hotel is in a nice rural landscape of Iceland with a hiking opportunity nearby (map on the reception desk). However some dogs of the nearby farmers do not like hikers, wehn you are walking on the street in front of the hotel. The rooms have a good size. Bathroom amenities are from Iceland, produced by Soley. The hotel features a very good restaurant with good views which is worth a visit by itself. A good breakfast is also served in the restaurant. Weirdly, you have to ask for spoons.”

“Lovely room beautifully decorated and comfortable. Wonderful view over the fjord and mountains. Comfortable armchair to relax in. Nice kitchenette to make toast for breakfast. Only issue was that neighbours in both adjoining rooms were a bit noisy but that happens anywhere. Nice and warm given cold conditions outside. The caramel muffin in the cafe was yummy too.”

Le logement est confortable, la literie est bonne, seul l’équipement de la cuisine pourrait être amélioré (casseroles, poêle). Le restaurant est agréable et le personnel accueillant.
