We especially enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and swimming off the dock. The host proactively communicated and was readily available for questions. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed.”

“The house was nice and the view was great but the house was infested with ants and mosquitoes. They were through the entire house. There was bug spray at the house and we used it, it helped some. We had to call the property manager twice in two days. Once because the toilet was broken then again to replace the furnace filter. It was incredibly dirty and we had family with asthma staying. The response time was amazingly fast, thank you for that. We ended up leaving a day early, storms came thru……

“We had a wedding to attend and looked for a place nearby and we are so happy we chose to stay at the luxury lodge in the wilderness. The cabin was impeccably clean and well stocked. We were lucky to see foxes and deer, just beautiful.”

“There were three of us who stayed here for 5 nights (ages 77, 51, & 13). Great communication, nice clean smelling house, comfy beds, and plenty of room. We had everything we needed right from the start. Nice neighborhood, relatively quiet, nice for walks. My father had never heard of a VRBO rental and was blown away when we walked in. ☺️ Would definitely recommend!!! A+”

“Overall great visit and I would stay again. All communication was great and check in very easy. Inside was clean, well appointed, and in great shape. King bed we used was nice and comfortable. Although inside was great, outside was in need of a major cleaning. Lots of dirt, dead bugs, old spider webs and mud dauber nests everywhere on walls, windows and doors. Even with outside cleaning needed still nice property with great outdoor amenities available. The driveway is very steep and could be……

“We enjoyed our stay. Loved seeing the fox, orchard orioles, and especially the screened in porch. The house was perfect getaway for the four of us. The fishing was not so great but we can’t blame that on vrbo.”

“We drug our feet planning our anniversary weekend getaway - waiting so much until the last minute that nothing was showing available. I sent Ches & Spring a message asking if they had anything else available and unbeknownst to me, the Ponderosa guesthouse was still available. They took extra steps to make sure that we were able to check in Friday and stay through Sunday. The main cabin is beautiful, but the little guesthouse was so charming! It's very clean and updated on the inside but not so……

“This property was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. The only complaint that we had was a lack of hand towels for kitchen and bathrooms and no bathroom washcloths as well. But overall a good stay. Would stay there again.”

“We had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful! Loved the Kitchen and gathering space. Great views of the lake from the deck. However I do agree with other views. It needed a little more cleaning and should have been inspected prior to our arrival. The deck was in need of being swept. No cushions on the chairs. Some were missing. What cushions were there were covered in tree debris and soaked. I know weather happens but an inspection would have fixed some of this. Overall we had a very nice……

“The property was great. It was clean and lived in, so you felt at home. They had everything we needed, plenty of towels, equipment to cook with, even a s'mores bar. There had been storms prior to our stay so the fire pit was wet, but we made s'mores inside. The whole family had a good time.”
