This cabin is located on the edge of town in Grafton, Illinois. Grafton is the perfect place for family or a couple’s getaway weekend! Being on the edge of town provides privacy from the commotion of main street but is also less than a mile to most attractions in town. It features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Enjoy hanging out or cooking on the spacious deck and having your own yard. There is plenty of room for trailer parking if you are bringing a boat. Also, there is a fire ring in the back yard that you are more than welcome to use. I try to keep fire wood there but it sometimes gets used up before I can restock it. This property is new to the market but I have had other properties in Grafton for a few years now. Feel free to look at their reviews or if they would fit your needs better. Grafton, Illinois is a small river town and is fast becoming the desired location for weekend getaways with many establishments throughout the town. Unique shops, wineries, bars, and restaurants where you will be able to enjoy live music are just a few of the many choices you have to choose from in Grafton. For those who desire a little adventure, Grafton is host to the Aeries Zip Line and the new Aeries SkyTour Gondola. Raging Rivers Waterpark is just one mile south of Grafton on the Great River Road. Pere Marquette State Park is another option for those looking for an adventure with many hiking trails and a horseback riding facility. The Sam Vadalabene Great River Road Bike Trail is a paved 20 mile trail from Grafton to Alton. If you are a boater, bring your boat and launch it at the free town boat ramp. You can take a ferry ride from Grafton to St. Charles, MO or to Calhoun County, IL. Fall is a popular time in Grafton where guests take in the beautiful fall colors while enjoying a glass of wine at one of the many wineries or from the private balcony. Nice Clean House

The house is how it looks, very clean and although small it is perfect for a group 4. The covered deck is great and we needed it as it rained both days we were there. However we were able to play cards. You could easily walk to Drifters restaurant/bar from there and the another half mile you are in the middle of Grafton.

Weekend Getaway

This was a lovely little cottage. The location was perfect, close to everything. Our favorite spot at the house was the porch. We loved sitting outside in the morning having coffee and watching the wildlife. Communication and check in was easy. This was an excellent simple getaway! The only thing missing was an extra blanket and extra pillows, but I could have easily brought my own.

Very nice smaller home tucked away off the Main Street with a view of the water. Beautiful wrap around porch that was great for sitting outdoors. Close enough to restaurants and bars, but far enough way to still enjoy the quiet.

We stayed the weekend for my husband’s 40th. We had such a relaxing stay. It was a perfect location. Wish it wasn’t 90 grantees so we could have really enjoyed that beautiful patio. We definitely will be back.

Loved the house. It was perfect for our stay. Located in between Grafton and Pere Marquette State Park. It was hard to spot the driveway between the 2 houses since this house is set back off the main road. We enjoyed the large porch and spent time there with our morning coffee and playing games at the table in the afternoon.

Relaxing Honeymoon Weekend

We stayed here on our quick honeymoon getaway! We LOVED this property. It is just right for one couple, or even two. It is at the end of the main road with all the shops and bars, but away from it enough to be quiet and secluded. The property was clean and comfortable, and we loved the deck/patio to sit outside and enjoy the evening and watch boats on the river. We will definitely be back again!

The description of the property was exactly how it was. It was a great location and we were able to walk to some restaurants nearby. The house was clean and perfect for what we needed it for. Jeff was great about communicating with us prior to our arrival regarding some area flooding. He was quick and responsive. Wonderful stay

This property is located just at end of strip making it very convenient to come and go. Perfect amenities for our short girls getaway. Only issue was finding it upon our arrival as it is located behind a couple other houses with a shared driveway. Host had wonderful communication, house was clean and well decorated and listing was just as described. Host also has other properties for different size groups. Would definitely stay again!
