"Absolutely loved The Lil House. We drove the Skyway in, and it was the perfect stay. Beautifully decorated, and nice and cozy. Would definitely stay again. "

The Lil House
10/10 Excellent
"Some people will have a problem with the Sulphur smell from the water, but the hospitality from the owner and the homely feeling of this little house really brings it all together. I had forgotten my boot dryer and even though I couldn't get ahold of the owner when I went back, they brought it right to me, and it was a relief as it was raining my entire work trip."

"The check in was easy, the house was very clean. And everything worked as it should. Plenty of parking space and the gravel driveway was packed enough we have no problem with Harley kickstands but spot bikes may need to use a piece of wood or some of the stepping stones under the car port."
"We enjoyed our stay very much. Located on a quiet street in the country, close enough to the Dragon’s Tail and Tapoco Tavern on a nice ride on 129 or around Fontana Village, close to the grocery store, and some local places to eat. The hosts made sure we had nearly everything we needed and it felt like home away from home, but with the benefits of vacation to get away from it all. Very clean, lots of towels, SmarTV, appliances and gadgets to make your favorite kind of coffee or tea or cook a full meal. The host left us treats on arrival and some basic staples in the pantry which would be handy if you don’t have a chance to get groceries yet. Even plenty of seasonings! K-cups, sweet creamer, half & half, and even heavy cream (with a frother on the Keurig), and bottles of drinking water. These are little things that you wouldn’t expect, because how many hosts are so thoughtful as to provide so many options of creamers and sweetener variety just for your coffee? It was also very important that the house has a secure garage, and it’s a double car garage. Outdoor patio on the second floor out back is a nice place to sit and read, enjoy the sun, watch animals in the pasture, or have a meal. And the firepit in the backyard serves as a barbecue grill if you like a cookout. The master bath has a good shower and a huge tub for a nice relaxing soak in a bubble bath. The house has plenty of sleeping room and 2-1/2 baths in case you stay with a small group of friends or a family."
