"Our 2 night stay at the Courtenay Coast Hotel was great. First, my wife requested the 2nd floor and they accommodated the request. The room had a comfortable King Bed, modern shower and was new and comfortable. The hotel had a partially heated pool we used one evening and hotel was just a few minutes away from the theatre, so we saw a movie one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, my wife and I very happy with our room and the hotel. I highly recommend staying here. David C."

"Nice place but expensive. They get away with the price being higher than it should because there aren't any other resorts in the area. The resort fee is just a cash grab. We didn't have time to take advantage of the free bucket of driving range balls or to use the fitness facility so basically we paid $15 per day for internet service and 2 small bottles of water."

"I have been using the Old House aș Mt Comox mid-island base over the yesrs and happy to see that their service level is getting better all the time. Nice well cared property and having a full kitchen and a washer/dryer in the apartment have been a big deciding factor for choosing them repeatedly."

"The property has a beautiful ocean view. The place is comfortable and well equipped. There are various things for use for outside and inside entertainment. There are beach chairs and blankets which was helpful. There is an access to a really interesting beach below. The pullout bed isn’t great and there are skylights that don’t have any window coverings in the living room. The grounds around are natural but in some instances messy. Such as a pile of yard trimmings beside the rooms sitting area. The outside stairs just inside the gate are not safe and in need of repair. Over all we enjoyed our stay."
