Great game drives

Our wonderful ranger David made our trip! He ensured that we saw lots of wonderful animals and was full of enthusiam — we could not have been happier! The main lodge and rooms are of a high standard and beautifully decorated, but the management and staff are in need of training. Everything is very slow.....s

Upmarket game lodhe

Best part of our stay were the game drives. Enough animals to see in a controlled environment. Food to a good standard with breakfasts being the standout. Staff were not up to what I expect from a 5 star property but did improve towards the end of the stay after a few words to the manager.

Excellent accommodation, Superb Game Drive

Luxury accommodation with great service and food. Game drives amazing with helpful and knowledgeable ranger. Just be aware that it can be cold on the early morning game dive but hot water bottles and poncho provided. On the game drives we saw Lions, elephants, Rhinos, Hippos, Buffalos and a Cheetah. Only negatives inconsistent Wi-Fi in room, minor repairs issues to external walkway and handrail in room.

Nice Game resort with highly professional staff -

Nice game resort with highly professional staff. Lodge was nice and spacious but the different levels from the bathroom to the bedroom to the sitting area makes it challenging and hazardous if one has mobility problems (I nearly broke my neck stepping from the bathroom into the bedroom at night in the dark with the level change.) Also, a secured fireplace would have been a nice touch. Sheets were stained but bed very comfortable. Nice food and excellent all around personnel. A better view of the river or the forest would have added a special touch in our lodge. The safari itself was unbelievable with hot pouches waiting for us and wonderful ponchos. Very well organised program.

A Bubble of Luxury

We enjoyed 5 days here with the most amazing game drives with Troy, our game warden and in between relaxed in the luxury of a small hotel of 10 private suite "huts". The staff and amenities are flawless and make each person feel like royalty. The attention to detail and anticipation of any need or wish is well thought out in advance and indicates the caliber of the service. Every single person was smiling and friendly without being stiff so made you feel immediately comfortable. After we left, we realized we had been living in a dream world of luxurious surroundings and service with the bonus of being extremely close to beautiful exotic animals every day.......a milestone experience!

Luxury in the Bush

This lodge goes all the way in customer service. You leave your car at the office and from that point you worry about nothing. You are transported back to the lodge by your personal guide and are treated to a luxurious experience from start to finish. You have your own personal butler and guide who will be at your service throughout your stay. The accommodations are 5 star and overlooking the water hole below your private deck and plunge pool. Your chef will provide you with some great meals and is more than willing to prepare whatever you desire. Matthew was nice enough to prepare a Banoffy pie for us on the day of our departure. We stayed there for 3 days at the end our 18 day vacation in South Africa and was a great way to unwind and relax before traveling back to Washington. You will enjoy 2 game drives per day. We had Jason and were very happy with the expert care provided and all the information he shared with us on the drives. We had some great game drives and will remember the experiences for years to come. Jason was able to get us close enough for some great pictures. In closing it was a wonderful experience at the end of Bill and Sandy's excellant adventures in South Africa.
