“This is my first 50/50 review of a resort. I usually stay at RIU resorts since I’m a RIU member, but because I was traveling with a minor, we couldn’t stay at the RIU in the Bahamas. The location is great only 20–25 minutes from the airport, and a taxi for two cost about $40. Check-in was pleasant, but the rooms were disappointing. My first room, 2211, looked nice at first, but paint was peeling, the bathroom smelled humid and rusty, and the balcony door was almost impossible to open. I was……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was well equipped. The host was super responsive. It was a perfect getaway; the condo was a short ride from the airport and had plenty of amenities to keep us entertained. We walked the beautiful beach and enjoyed the game room in the morning. Relaxed at the beach and pool in the afternoon, after having gone for some touring around. Don’t miss Banana Bay at low tide for lunch! Then back to the condo to shower up and enjoy the evening food, drinks, and……

“Offered some good tours. I just wouldn't do the island tour. The cave tour was awesome! The dolphin encounter was wonderful. The bonfire was fun. We did things on our own sunset Cruise was super fun. Just be prepared to spend money on cabs as everything is on canals and is not very walkable. Other than that we had an incredible time”

“Really lovely apartment. Well equipped and comfortable beds and good cooking facilities. Location was perfect with beautiful Coral Beach on our doorstep. Communication with owner could not have been better with fast responses to any questions we had. Thank you we had a wonderful stay.”
