"Inchecken was makkelijker dan verwacht. De kamer was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt was vers en gevarieerd, wel miste ik een ommeletje. De omgeving is erg stil in de avond (wat geldt voor heel Mauritius) maar het hotel is op makkelijke loopafstand op een van de mooiste stranden die ik ooit heb gezien. Dus een prima uitvalsbasis voor de perfecte strandvakantie. "

"Terrible value for the exorbitant price. We paid premium prices for this property! Customer service is non-existent, no aircon in the living room, none of the fans work, they don’t change sheets and towels daily, they don’t respond to complaints and are very defensive to feedback. There is not even coffee, tea or milk in the kitchen, not even sugar, salt and pepper! Worst ever stay for the kind of money we paid. We regret staying in this place. Just do yourselves a favor and avoid this place...

"Such a lovely place with outstanding view. Everything you might need was close and very easy to go where ever you wanted to go or see. You can see the beautiful ocean right from the bed and what a view to have a breakfast from your balcony and watch the sea and palmtrees. The owners were extremely kind and lovely people! If you need to rent a car or take a trip where ever in the island you want they helped you every possible way to make your trip best as possible. We can definetly recommend this...

"The staff is very kind, each and every one of them. Maybe not too swift in replying the emails, that has to be improved, for sure. The structure is in a great spot, 5 minutes walking to many restaurants and to the beachfront, however it is pretty quiet given the fact that it is located in a secondary alley. The room is huge and has all the facilities for cooking, if you want to dine inside, and it had a lovely patio with pool view where you can chill out. Breakfast was nothing special but...

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison pourvue de toutes les commodités et sécurisée. De plus l'accueil d'Ikbal a été chaleureux avec des boissons fraiches et quelques pâtisseries du pays. Une aide nous a également été fournie pour organiser des sorties et des excursions. "We have just recently spent 2 weeks at Villa Athena and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is a really lovely villa with an outside patio area and of course a small pool. The master bedroom is wonderful with en-suite and doors opening up to the pool. The entire lounge/dining area opens up to the patio and pool giving a real open air feeling to the villa. We had a couple of issues when we first arrived and the host reacted very quickly arranging an electrician to make the repair. Good...
