"There is only 1 resturant and a buffet not 2 as advertised. We were there for 2 nights to end our honeymoon from a cruise. We were unable to get in either nights to the restaurant despite there only being 4 people dinning a one point. We raised that it was our honeymoon and we hadn’t been able to experience the resturant were told well there is a cruise in. Some staff were very lovely others rude when serving drinks. We were also promised a honeymoon gift package which we never received. Buffet food was good but repetitive. If you want to play tennis they give you racquets but you need to buy a pack off balls from the shop for £10"

"It was very clean and room large and decorated well.gave you the feeling you was on ground floor on a terrace but in fact you was above a small row of shops..don't recall hearing traffic and never felt we was on a main road.. you really did feel you was on ground floor next to the beach impressive to feel this just by decor and plants.. even had beach towels and umbrella and toys for the beach everything you need all free 💃💃breakfast was fresh and delicious.. the staff efficient and details of all needed with a house book with everything you need to know..with a massive list of where to eat.. the only thing I so wished had a pool but you can't have everything ❣️"

"Loved my stay here! We were in Mauritius for a week and stayed at 3 different hotels on the East, west, and southern coasts. Grand Baie Veranda was my favorite. The hotel is simply so beautiful from the moment you get into the parking lot. Very clean and the staff are amazing. I will never forget one of the staff members taking the time to clean my wound when I stubbed my big toe walking to dinner. That was so nice. The food is also great and I loved the gift shop. Found reasonably-priced souvenirs to take home with me. The room was great, my only qualm with it is that there are too many light switches. Otherwise, very spacious and well-decorated. Loved waking up to the sound of birds serenading us on the balcony each morning. The hotel and the surrounding area are also pretty lively. Many dining options within walking distance."

"First off we booked a room close to where daughter lived with the expectation she could come and hang out with us in the evening. When we checked in we were told she was only allowed to go to the bar. She couldn’t come to our room at all. This should have been listed in the write up of the room or at least posted in our confirmation. Second we booked the room with the tub and surrounding windows(we paid extra for that room). The tub did not ever have hot water. We mentioned to staff several times and they said they were told it was fixed but it was not. The windows were broken. One was open when we checked in and we really had to struggle to close. On last day we opened another one and we couldn’t get it to close. There was a table in the room and you couldn’t really work at it because it wasn’t level and rocked. The second to last night we had been out and we were going up to the bar to hang out with my daughter. The staff at the front desk stopped us and told us that it was too late. Again never told that there was a time limit. I asked to speak to the Manager and expressed my all of my frustrations. He apologized and then allowed us to come up for a drink. He comped drinks. The staff was very nice and tried to accommodate. My biggest complaint was we were never told these policies from booking. The hotel itself really could use a little more updating. "

"We recently stayed at Seapoint and could not have been more pleased with our stay. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive throughout—professional, warm, and consistently helpful. The accommodations were clean and well maintained, with beautiful ocean views. The food was excellent—fresh, well prepared, and consistently high quality. A memorable stay that reflects genuine pride in service and execution."
