This is a wonderful, spacious house. It's the perfect distance from the lake, a few minutes walk down a short sand dune. The house was in great condition and very comfortable. Also in a perfect location in town, a five minute drive from stores and restaurants.

Lake Michigan Getaway

Great place! Super location with a small and uncrowded but beautiful beach! Tons of room with a big garage for bikes and paddle boards. Would definitely stay again!

Great place right on Lake MI beach!

We've come back to Brucker Beach two summers in a row because you can't beat the back yard access to such a nice Lake Michigan beach! The house comfortably fits 7 people for sleeping, eating, and everything else. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking any meals and you're only about a 5 minute drive from downtown Grand Haven.

Annual family Memorial Day trip

It was our first time visiting Michigan and seeing the Great Lake. The property was a great fit for our family. Photos were accurate. Location was excellent. The vibe and decor of the property was an added bonus. Downtown was a short drive away and local restaurants were close. We hiked the dunes at Rosey Mound, took a sunset cruise on the Lake and experienced small town America at the annual Memorial Day parade. I would definitely recommend this place and if we ever come back to the area, I would rebook.

Just steps from Lake Michigan!

We had a great time at Brucker Beach. The house had plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 kids. The highlight, of course, was being steps away from Lake Michigan and being able to swim and play in the sand whenever we wanted to. The kitchen had all the dishes and cookware we needed, and there were lots of games for kids. The first night, we discovered that the master bed had sand in it, indicating it was either not changed or properly laundered. We were also short two towels. That being said, the management company came out the next morning with fresh sheets and towels, so no big problem, and the service was appreciated. Two small notes for people looking at the VRBO listing: First, the photos do not clearly show that the room with the daybed is attached to the master bedroom. In other words, you have to walk through it to get to the master. Keep that in mind for how bedtimes work out, because you may be walking through a room someone is sleeping in. Second, it is worth highlighting that there are "only" 1.5 baths. When you have 7 people in the lake and on sand, the shower is in high demand, and only having one shower causes some issues if you don't plan ahead. We worked this out fine, but you do have to keep that in mind if you have a big group.

Could not ask for a better location and stay. Very well kept up place. Kitchen was fully stocked with all you needed to prepare meals.Minutes from Grand Haven. The beach was wonderful!

Home was great size for our family. Main living area is upstairs with half bath. Bedrooms and full bath on lower/ground level. Kitchen stocked with pretty much all we needed-pots, pans, dishes, glassware. Also had started supplies-paper towels, dish soap and dishwashers tablets. Check in was easy and without problems.

Beautiful Location & Home

My friends and I really enjoyed our weekend vacation here. The house is a short walk away from a beautiful beach, which was perfect for us! Loved that you can see the lake and sunsets from the balcony. Would stay here again :)

House by the beach

House was nice. Close to the beach. Would be nice if there was a patio table and chairs. The two Adirondack chairs are nice but two low two watch the lake. It was nice that a ladder was in the garage it made it easy to load the roof top carrier. Nice place over all.

A Perfect Family Getaway

Our family loves visiting Lake Michigan this year. We traveled with 7 adults, a toddler, and an infant. This property offered everything we were looking for in a rental property. It was very clean and kid-friendly. The house is in walking distance to a small public beach. It is used mostly by local residents and not crowded during the week. Sometimes, we were the only family on the beach which was lovely. There is only one FULL bath but we made it work. The only suggestion our family had was to update the twin mattresses. They are not very comfortable. If you are traveling with kids that can sleep on anything, you probably don't need to worry too much; however, we had adults sleeping on the twin mattress and they struggled to achieve a good nights sleep.

Fantastic Beach House!

Amazing location next to the beach and gorgeous interiors. Beautiful sunsets over the water that you can watch from the porch while you grill. The beach itself is very nice, clean, and never got too crowded. We brought a kayak and paddled to rosey mound dunes less than 2 miles south.

Meticulous, steps from a quiet beach, close to Grand Haven

We were looking for a meticulous vacation property with a quiet beach in close proximity and a few minutes from downtown Grand Haven, and this property provided exactly that. The house's interior was extremely clean and it was well stocked. The main living space was on the second floor and the open layout and myriad of windows made for lovely views of Lake Michigan. The beach access point was literally steps from the yard and Grand Haven was just a 5 minute drive from the house. Many thanks to the property management company for their courteous (and helpful) communication. They were wonderful!! We would love to return next year!

Nice House Close to the Beach

The house was very nice inside with plenty of space. Upper floor deck overlooks Lake Michigan and is perfect for viewing the sunset. Located right at the end of the street there is a path down to the beach. The hike up and down this sand path was not very easy, especially with chairs and coolers. King and queen bed were just ok as far as comfort. The twin beds were terrible, one couple had to sleep on the couch due to these being so uncomfortable. I would suggest putting another queen size bed in that room which is more comfortable for adults. We did find they the outside deck didn’t have very much room and was hard to fit all 6 of us on. I would have really loved to have a bon fire pit outside that we could all have gathered at for the evenings. Overall the place worked out well for our stay and would definitely recommend for small family getaways to Grand Haven.

Beautiful getaway

The property was as advertised. Clean, nicely updated, very close walking distance to Lake Michigan. We enjoyed morning coffee out on the deck looking at the lake in the distance, as well as watching the sun set each evening with a glass of wine. Great place for families with kids, as the area of beach front is away from the crowds. We only saw local property owners and their families. Grocery is close by, as are restaurants. Truly enjoyed our getaway!

Stellar Beach Vacation Property

This beach bungalow was incredible! The inside of home was gorgeous, so well decorated, and as clean as could be. It’s a 3 min walk to the beach and the sunset from the deck cannot be beat. Has everything you could want for a stay all year long and I’m already planning another stay for next year.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach house was beautifully decorated and well appointed. It had everything we needed. The interior was perfect, the exterior needed a power wash and some upkeep (although, that would not deter us from staying there again). The house was extremely clean and beds were very comfortable! Note: the beach access is about a 100 yard walk to get to the beach. And, with the high level water the beach is very small. But the views and sunsets are amazing!! A great beach house!
