"The property and arrangements were described perfectly. We got to the area a little early, so I texted Bonnie and asked if there was a way to check in early. Once the cabin was cleaned, she was more than accommodating with my request. Extremely close to the beach, less than a block and you are there. We wanted to go surf fishing but it was much too windy, but the walk, which was about a hundred yards, to the beach was easy with our equipment. We had five individuals in the cabin and there was plenty of room, even after blowing up an air mattress. We were at cabin number one and easily parked our four pickup trucks. Other cabins may have different parking but hours had great space for our vehicles. I would recommend staying here and I will definitely do it again in a couple of months. The space under the cabin is plentiful, with a bench to sit on and plenty of room for chairs. As described, no towels so bring your own. Thank you!"

"House is a near ground level rebuild from the hurricane. It's livable but not spacious. There is about 14 inches of clearance between the bed and wall. Amenities are non existent. Bring anything you need. Outside spaces are not much use except watching cars on hwy 1 or looking at neighbors side doors in the back. Shoreline is a tidal mudflat. If you're looking for a beach you need to keep driving. Looking at the outrageous prices that other houses on the island charge this house ( duplex) was fine for good place to sleep. Old window unit a/c may be quite a challenge when it get warmer. No real reliable way to set them for nights but just hit or miss. Hot water on kitchen sink is backwards. Plumbing in bathroom about to fall off. Neighbor renters were cordial but they left barking dogs while they were out for t day Beds were firm and comfortable Would not recommend trying to crowd four adults into this house for any length of time"

"The cottage was well appointed appeared well taken care of and had a beach feel. Unfortunately there was no extra toilet paper nor laundry soap. The bbq pit was broken and they were workers building a shed all day Saturday who left their trash all over. The deck was in poor condition with loose decking and popped nails throughout causing a safety hazard"

"The house was very clean, so nice to have open windows to listen to the gulf waves at night and get some fresh sea breeze! Perfect location to explore the isle or just set up your spot on the beach!"

"SUPER NICE! Less of a camp and more of a nice home. Two of the bedrooms have "on suite bathrooms" which our group really loved! Some in our group spent the entire time on the pier fishing and enjoying the dolphins. We also rented a side by side which made the beach trips super easy. This Host was very responsive. You will not go wrong renting this place. I have been coming to GI for 40 years and this was one of the best camps and experiences!"

"The upstairs loft bed did not have any bed sheets or pillowcases. The paint on the walls and ceiling was pilling. The staircase it’s EXTREMELY DANGEROUS my kids almost hurt their heads walking by it. "
