Moose Manor-Beautiful, Relaxing, Private, Clean!Family & Pet Friendly-Low Rates

Moose Manor has been recently remodeled. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The home sits on 2/3 of an acre, among colorful Aspen, Blue Spruce, with 2 natural springs flowing in the yard. Across from a Private Wetland where moose, elk, deer, and bear can be found eating and roaming. Moose Manor is a quiet place where moose and deer are often seen in the grass yard along with hummingbirds flying to the feeders.

The cabin is located in a quiet mountain area with land to play games, a beautiful fire pit to roast marshmallows over. Enjoy a peaceful walk around the area, sip coffee on the deck while watching the sun rise, or just sitting at the fire pit watching a colorful sunset fall behind the mountains, while listening to the Colorado River in the background.

Moose Manor is close to Downtown Grand Lake, Granby, and Winter Park is only half an hour away. Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Reservoir, and Grand Lake are all within five minutes of our cabin. Rocky Mountain National Park entrance is only five minutes away as well. Trail Ridge Road passes through the park leading to Estes Park. This is the highest paved continuous road in the Continental US. Amazing wildlife, including elk and moose, can be seen along this breathtaking journey. There is 150 miles of groomed snowmobile trails within minutes of the cabin that meander through some of the best back country powder in the country. In the summer, these trails are used for ATVs with many places to rent all equipment including snowmobiles in the winter.

The master bathroom was remodeled and a new full-size stainless fridge is now in the kitchen.
All new windows and a sliding glass door were installed. The cabin did receive new floors, fresh paint, new kitchen appliances, new furniture, new beds and mattresses, new: bedding, linens, kitchen items, family games, 40" Smart TV and 40"TV in master, and Internet/Wi-fi.

We welcome families with children and pets. Moose Manor has special touches to keep them all busy. This is a no smoking home.

Totally awesome

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. A moose welcomed us the first night and a beautiful mule deer on our first walk in the neighborhood. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Easy access to the amenities. Cooking was a joy and everything needed available. Can’t wait to return in the fall.

Perfect!

This cabin was wonderful for a quick getaway to RMNP! The cabin was spotless and had extras like full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The showers were amazing- HOT water and great water pressure. The beds were very comfortable. This cabin has everything you need and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need including spices, coffee, and basic condiments in the fridge. The furniture is comfortable, but we spent a lot of time outside in the many outdoor seating areas! This location is perfect- you feel like you are in the woods, but have very close access to RMNP and to Grand Lake. Grand Lake has some nice restaurants. For us, it was the best of both worlds- quiet but only a 10 min drive to RMNP or Grand Lake. This is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at! Would definitely recommend and stay here again! The hosts were amazing and communicated quickly, although we didn't have any problems to report.

Perfect location

Grand lake and moose manor were a perfect location for visiting RMNP. definitely on the quiet side instead of the busy and commercial Estes Park. Very nice scenery all around. Moose manor is very well stocked with all basic necessities. We only needed to purchase our own personal groceries. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

Get away with granddaughters

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is quiet and clean. The kitchen has all that you need to cook a meal. The only suggestion I would have is to add a step to the entrance. It may make it easier for someone with bad knees to get to the front door. The owner was helpful and available and all of the details on the listing description are accurate.

Great location and wonderful hosts

We chose this cabin for the location being a more private setting to enjoy with dogs. We liked that it had a woodsy feel, sizable yard, and a fire pit (there are houses nearby you can see from the cabin but it's a very quiet neighborhood). The cabin is 5-10 minutes from most everything, the lakes, restaurants, etc... which is super convenient. The hosts are very responsive and lovely to correspond with. The cabin is clean and well stocked. Highly recommend!

Quiet Getaway

If you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway, this is the place. Lots of wildlife. It was nice to enjoy a bonfire as the weather cools down at night and to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning on the deck and watch the deer walk by.

Perfect Grand Lake Retreat

Jennifer and Don have a lovely home in Grand Lake, we had an excellent experience renting from them. Great communication, everything you need, awesome fire pit out back. Nice walking in the area and the perfect location to see a moose or bear! We will be back:)
