"Room was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful."

"The room was clean, but not kept up well. The staff was present. The breakfast was minimal, with few choices and nothing available for those who need to eat gluten-free. Fortunately, I travel with my own breakfast food. The air conditioner did not work, so we were forced to keep a window open, which didn't feel safe as we were right on the highway. Our room looked nothing like those shown on Expedia, and I'm wondering if they're from the Aspen LODGE, which is an entirely different establishment. We would not recommend this motel, and we will not return."

"The room was roomy and comfortable. It was perfect for resting after a day of hiking. The farmhouse style sink in the bathroom was perfect for rinsing dishes, filling water bottles and washing faces and hands. It is obvious a lot of thought was given to the design of the room. Our only interaction with staff was when they showed us a bear about 100 feet from our cabin as we walked back from the beach. On our next visit we will look at taking advantage of the kayaking opportunities offered at Bluefin for guests. There were plenty of supplies, towels, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. for the time we were there. It is close to some great hiking like Pincushion Mountain and Cascade Falls. We enjoyed going into Grand Marais, which is close, for dinner as is the Cascade Lodge. We will definitely look at staying here again."

"Host responded very fast when I needed. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Sauna was also awesome heats up pretty quick and can get hot. Overall great peaceful getaway for a nice relaxing weekend."
