The location is hard to beat! We were in walking distance of Artist's Point and several places to eat. Staff was friendly at check in. Continental breakfast was well-stocked. Obviously the building is old so that comes with its quirks, but we still really enjoyed the stay.

Our room had a nice view of the lake. The room was clean but maintenance was unprofessional. We had to park in the street and skipped the breakfast, electing to go to the bakery around the corner. The location was good.

We stayed at the Shoreliner many years ago. It was wonderful to see how well maintained it was. A lovely location on Lake Superior, with a large deck over looking the Lake. Very restful and peaceful. You will love it.

Couldn't stay the second night of our booking because the beds were so uncomfortable. One had a giant hole indented in it. The staff said they would change our rooms but they were booked. We had to leave town early because it was so bad. :(
