“The pool and hot tub were very nice, the breakfast was the best American hotel breakfast I have ever had, and the woman who checked us in was very welcoming and helpful.”

“Very humble people that work there nice and easy to work with right now they are doing some remodeling to there building but they have been super attentive with the process i honestly cant complain they've been really cool with me my daughter and mom. one of their other main likable things is their prices sometimes on the weekend they go up a bit but every place does but during the week i still haven't found another place that has or would beat their price.”

“The rooms were over all okay the shower kinda sprayed everywhere because it doesn’t have the correct curtains for the design of the shower, the window was broken, and the AC dosent work. ”

“The first room provided had a smoke smell. We had to take all are luggage back to the first floor front desk. We changed rooms. There is a swimming pool but in the Winter, we enjoy the spa but they didnt provide it. My son was cold so he wanted to take a bath but the water stopper was broken. Staff tried to fix it but she said tomorrow at 7 am people could come to fix it or we could change rooms again. We do not appreciate the service but we did not want to change rooms again. “It was 11 o'clock in the evening, and someone on the 4th floor was constantly making loud noises and stomping on the floor, I live in 3 floor, I try to sleep, but it is hard because it is loud. I called the service desk twice, but the problem was not solved well. The most basic thing a good hotel should provide customers with a good rest. I have stayed here at least five times and was very disappointed this time.”

“We love staying at the historic places McMenamin’s has restored! Delicious coffee ready for guests in the morning, robes in each room, a comfortable bed and clean room, a restaurant serving delicious food downstairs, all for $100 a night. Can’t find that anyplace I’d want to stay these days. The clean shared bath and the memories of the train whistle outside our room are a small price to pay for such a memorable night away.”
