We loved our stay! The yurt was cozy, comfortable and so charming! It was stocked with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was so relaxing and the snowshoes were a nice bonus. It was a perfect winter getaway!

The yurt was great. Very clean, super cozy and cute with all the amenities of home, including lots of added touches -- welcome basket, smores kit and fire kit ready to go, and a cart to haul our belongings. The property was well marked and easy to find. Would definitely go back again

We had a wonderful experience at the Yurt cabin. A semi remote location in the woods makes for a peaceful stay. The place was very cozy, very clean and well laid out. The hot tub on the patio looking out at the woods and bird feeders was so relaxing Laying in bed looking out the skylight was amazing Was a great experience

this place we beautiful! my fiancé and I wanted a quick end of summer get away and this was the perfect place! the yurt was so cozy and it so nicely decorated! the fire pit was nice to roast some smores! we will definitely be coming to stay in the winter soon!

Absolutely perfect place to stay. We had the best weekend reconnecting with nature; canoeing the Mississippi river, hiking the nearby 5x state parks. The yurt was spacious yet cozy. We were always comfortable during both the warm daytime and when it cooled off at night. Laying on the comfortable bed, staring up at the stars between the treetop canopy was a great way to relax before falling asleep. Bev and Dave truly made a wonderful place and had all the accomodations set up for a perfect relaxing retreat. Will definitely be coming back!

Great property and has everything you need. A/C works great, it is so quiet and peaceful inside the yurt, and they have done a great job arranging the interior to maximize the space. Highly recommend!

This is a really neat place. Not your average yurt. The kitchen has a stovetop, microwave, fridge, and sink. It doesn't have an oven. The gas grill outside was great for cooking our kabobs. The bed is huge, and the bathroom was really nice with a walk in shower with 2 showerheads. The hot tub outside was nice, as was the firepit. We had a real nice time, highly recommend. Way better than a hotel room, much more private. Check in and check out were easy.

One of the best "cabin" experiences we have ever had - and we've had a lot. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. We came with the purpose of biking the Mesabi trail. We had a BIG storm come through but we found gaps to still get out and ride. It was really a cozy place to be during the storm, watching the lightening through the glass hole in the top. I would definately stay here again.

Unique and charming. Very comfortable for two. Comfy bed and sitting area, well outfitted kitchenette (cooktop allowed us to make dinner one night), nice patio for sitting outside and listening to the birds. Just outside of Grand Rapids, a short drive to the bike trails. The hot tub was a nice treat after a day of riding.

Amazing Space!

The Robin's Nest yurt was the perfect home base for the holiday weekend while hanging out with family and friends in the area! Really cool space, climate controlled, and the amenities are awesome. Will definitely be back!

5 star property, 3 star neighbors.

The yurt itself was amazing, exactly what we needed. It was cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The property is only 10 minutes to Grand Rapids which was great as well. The only issue is it's not as private as we would have liked. It's adjacent to a family home and the kids were running and yelling outside and driving their ATV around their house. I don't begrudge them that, it's their home, but when you're trying to have a romantic weekend away, the noise is bothersome. Also, there is no cover for the sunroof thing at the top of the yurt, so be prepared for it to be bright as soon as the sun comes up. We were up by 6:30am each day because we couldn't sleep. The fresh scones on arrival was a nice touch. The only other recommendation is to provide some shampoo & conditioner.

“Yurts so good!”

Was a really great place for our mom/daughter weekend up north. Beautifully decorated, and everything we needed was there, as well as a few nice surprises we wouldn’t have expected. Such a comfy, cozy little place, even through the stormy weather we had one night. I hope to return with my husband sometime in the fall or winter. Highly recommended.

Yurt Gonna Love It!

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful time kicking back and relaxing at the yurt. We mostly just hunkered down for our short stay and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We loved how encapsulated in nature we were while also being close enough to town if we needed to grab something. David and Bev were on top of everything and all of our needs were more than met! The fresh baked scones and s’mores were a delicious treat around the campfire! We definitely want to come back for a more extended stay and we will miss not being able to fall asleep staring at the stars through the glorious dome. It is more than worth your time to visit!

Lovely and Peaceful Stay

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay! The property is very serene and nestled among the pines. Everything was very well thought out and it had everything you would need for your stay. We loved the comfortable king sized bed and the comfy sheets! The hot tub is a nice touch and was very clean as well as the fire pit with the wood and kindling already provided for you. Would definitely recommend staying here for couples who just want to getaway for a weekend and relax and be in nature. Thank you David and Bev for your hospitality!

Absolute gem!

Thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, tranquil setting. From the cozy fireplace, to the hot tub and fresh baked scones upon arrival, the hosts took care and attention to details to make a really wonderful stay. They were easy to work with and super responsive. We can't wait to return!

Everything you need and nothing you don't

A quaint yurt set about 300 feet from another yurt that presumably the owners reside in. It has a microwave, stove, toaster, grill, and double shower head shower! The bed was lovely as was the fireplace. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the propane heater for cold nights. Perfect for two adults looking to relax. Lots of local things to do such as music bingo and trivia at the local breweries.
