“Loved the location -very quiet and off the beaten path, but close to Cable. Just a short walk from your door to the Birkebeiner trails for a beautiful walk or bike ride. It was great to have a fully equipped kitchen!”

“What a wonderful cottage with an outstanding lake view! All kinds of wildlife - geese, loons, mallards, herons, turtles, and beaver. A young bald eagle visited the property several times. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. WiFi test indicated 20MB download - no problems streaming on our Roku.”

We were looking for a little bit of everything, lake views, near food, near shopping, acess to Superior lake walking trail, and this place fulfilled. Nice natural lighting. For being a smaller space it felt large. Basic kitchen tools helped make the kitchen feel practical to use. Loved the bonus coffee!”

“My wife and I chose this property for a weekend getaway in spring. The cabin was tucked away, just off the main road to Hayward, secluded but easy to find. During our stay we had morning coffee on the screened in porch, reading and enjoying the views on the outdoor deck, and also spent time on the bench on the dock watching the visiting swans (we saw 22 one day!). The host was friendly and responsive, the property clean and well-maintained, we highly recommend if you are looking to relax and……

“It was so Beautiful and Quiet! Our cabin was clean and had all the necessities. We toured the area, saw 9 waterfalls, 2 state parks, 2 beaches, Lake Superior and a Pow Wow!
