“The welcome at Awali was excellent. The all inclusive starts when you arrive regardless of check-in time and it ends when you leave even if you checked out the room hours before. This worked quite well for us as our flight left at 9pm. The concierge is a gem who makes things so easy to do and has really good communication. The restaurants were fab. “We stayed there for our 10-year anniversary. Nice view. However, we paid an expensive nightly rate for a half board. The main restaurant is supposed to be opened until 10pm. We arrived at 8pm for our reservation. Not even 15min after our arrival, the staff clearly started to do everything possible to make us understand we ought to be leaving asap.
