The pub is quite basic but clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The main downside, especially as we were in one of the front bedrooms, was the traffic noise.

Any port in a storm, ok for a quick overnight stay. Rooms very basic. Exit and entry via metal staircase, wife felt they were unsafe. Staff friendly enough. Didn’t do any food.

Very basic room with shared bathroom. Noisy as room was right above the busy pub and overlooking a main road with lots of heavy goods vehicles passing by. Didn't get much sleep.
