“I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I could hear very clearly the guests in the room above us. Very thin floors. Water pressure on the shower was poor. Definitely not worth the $260 we paid.”

“This is a historic place visited by the likes of Henry Ford, filled with fishing memorabilia on the walls, that is a great choice for a group (or family) who wish to test their skills on the Au Sable or other local trout streams Terry and the other staff were wonderful. The suite I stayed in, one of two with their own bath rooms, was commodious. It's well located on the north branch of the Au Sable, and only about 25 minutes from Grayling. ”

“Clean and neat. Very convenient and close to the highway. My only complaint is that the bathroom is tiny, and the shower was a little janky. The curtain rod was mounted too low and kind of loose, so the shower curtain was partly underfoot in the tub, and the rod stuck way out over the toilet. Other than that, everything was great.”

“Pools were not maintained supposed to be heated and was not. One of the hot tubs was ice cold. One of the outdoor pools were unusable with green water. The indoor outdoor pool was cold and full of pollen. This cement around the pool was all cracked and broken with large chunks missing with rugs over the cracks which I thought was a big hazard. The golf course did look nice but we did not golf. We came more for the pools and to relax. It definitely needed some updates. I didn’t realize from……

“When you rent a room through Expedia, the property gives you the worst possible room they have in the worst possible location. It would be okay if the room cost $40 a night but I still pay close to $100 a night for the crapiest room they have. The room they gave me was in the way back at the end of a long hallway where they were remodeling the interior of the building at 9 AM in the morning. The workers were Mexican and lived in a room down the hall from the roommate occupied.”

“Professional and courteous staff. Our room was very clean and inviting. Exceptional breakfast bar with a lot of choices. Coffee was very good with selections to choose from. Very nice swimming pool, well maintained and huge!!!! 👍🇺🇸”

“When we got to the office ar the Waters, we couldn’t find a soul in sight to get us checked in. We called multiple times, rang the ring doorbell multiple times… no response. Went to the bar across the road and they knew the owner and said he was sleeping. We went back over and sat in front of the room hoping he would greet, apologize, etc….he never even showed his face and made zero effort to honor the booking. Needless to say, we were Extremely disappointed with this booking that left us……
