「The cabin was cozy and the workplace met my needs. A couple of suggestions: Tissues in the room would be nice. In Cabin 3, the chairs are missing screws on the chair cushions. Can always use more hooks on the walls for hanging: towels, jackets, clothes」

It felt like it was a cabin used frequently by a family with many things in various state of needing repair. I had to fix two light fixtures to get them to work and I had to pound down nails in the floorboards that would otherwise cut our feet. Floors and cabinets seem to be partially updated but not fully (e.g missing handles or sections of floor still bare plywood). ...

We booked tickets on The Polar Express train in Cumberland, MD, so this was a great location for both our event and to explore Cumberland. Very clean and cozy place to stay as temperatures fell into the teens. We toasted marshmallows at the firepit and enjoyed the hot tub as snow fell around us. 「There might be several reasons to stay at the Rack Shack. Ours was the location, not far from Fallingwater which we visited the following morning. Also, the modest price for an entire cabin was appreciated. Visiting from northern Maine we were right at home with the antlers and taxidermy.
