「It was our first time staying in Pippin Cottage and what a delight. When we arrived we contacted the host and they met us promptly. It is a very cosy and quiet location. Not far from st Osyth village. Thankyou to the hosts for a lovely stay. 」

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, biscuits, chocolate bar, sewing equipment, shoeshine and lots more were provided in our room. 「It was very shabby and it smelt bad. It is conveniently situated for the centre of Clacton but it was very noisy and so I didn't sleep well. There was very little space in the bathroom. 「The hotel is extremely well situated right on the front and close to the pier. It is currently undergoing some much-needed maintenance, leading to some unwelcome building noise and obstructions. There were a number of issues with our room, including a shower which would not drain properly, and dodgy wifi, leading also to problems with the TV. 「Nice enough hotel but very tired and a bit out of the way. Moved here after one night in Premier Inn which was much nicer and better located. No breakfast option as far as we could tell.」
