Glorious Tharros of Mykonos
A glorious stay. The hotel is welcoming, clean, comfortable, a glorious sea view from my room, the pool and terrace. Great staff, location, and overall experience. (One minor niggle that in low season wirh an empty bar, drinks/snacks in the minibar would have been good.)

Great second stay at the Tharroe... really like the hotel and the staff / service are outstanding - Paris and Apostolis (spelling likely wrong) on the front desk were excellent in responding to our needs... Yanis in the restaurant is just amazing, looking after us brilliantly! With it being at the top of a hill, the views are stunning, however the downside is the wind is particularly strong too... the hotel would benefit from more screening around the pool area to protect from a little more of the wind

The staff at this property make every effort to ensure that you relax and enjoy yourself. The housekeeping is amazing; towels changed twice a day and the whole hotel is spotless. On reception they are friendly, speak excellent English and try to accommodate your needs. We as an example required many taxis; this was no problem for them to ring and organise. Yannis in the restaurant is so attentive and we ate lunch there most days. I don’t think the prices were high. I think they represented good value. For us, there were just 2 negatives. Neither were the fault of the hotel as they are clear and transparent in their details. However, I failed to notice that dogs are allowed. Whilst some were very well behaved, one dog who was indulged by their owners around the pool and in the restaurant was very snappy and growling at guests. It wasn’t really what we expected. In addition, the road is not too accessible due to the motorcycles and quad bikes. We did walk to the town 3 times, but you need to be very cautious due to the open pavement. All in all, we had a wonderful time and I would recommend the hotel. We made memories and the staff were part of that; for which we are grateful.

The place is amazing, perfect location for sunset at Mykonos, very close to town, 10 minutes walking. The best of all is the condition of the place, neat and extremely clean. Ultimately the staff is wonderful, each am every single person in that hotel is fantastic on the area they are serving, friendly, respectful, happy people. I extremely recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Mykonos. I’ll come back for sure!

Great property just away from town centre. Superb views from rooms and dining, bar and pool area. Friendly and helpful staff who organised delose tour and car rental for us, they even organise cake for my birthday which was much appreciated. Would stay here again. There is a walk to town but buses stpp at the corner and its an easy walk down 11 minutes for us and about 16 back up but pleasent walk

We stayed here for our Anniversary and it was better than expected! We loved the property and our room. Our view on the balcony of Mykonos Town was breathtaking. The pool area was amazing and the views were gorgeous. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The only one small complaint we have was the wifi was terrible in our room...it came and went all the time and never really connected. But, overall it was an amazing stay.

I highly recommend this hotel
I highly recommend to stay here. We had an excellent experience. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff and service was top notch. The driver who offered our transfers were so nice and friendly. The front desk staff were friendly. The people who served the breakfast and dinner were amazing, in particular the girl called Juana. She gave us the best service during our dinner at Tharroe.

We had the best of stays at Tharroe. The accommodation is stunning, from the rooms to the communal areas such as the bar and pool, every little detail has been thought about. The best part of this hotel however, was it’s staff. The staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly, no matter your question or request they were always willing to help out and go the extra mile. A lovely, relaxing and stunning stay for anyone wanting a little peace and quiet outside the main hustle and bustle of Mykonos Town

Great choice
Amazing hotel, super kind and resourceful staff. The staff booked us a yacht for a day, organized taxis to beach clubs and even made dinner reservations for us during our stay. The view from the hotel is fantastic. The hotel is situated on a hill; a 20 min walk from town. The walk from town is mostly up hill, which can be annoying late at night, but the views make it worth it. I’d definitely recommend this hotel 9/10!

Expectations leads to disappointment massively - from all the outside views this hotel boasts 5 stars however once inside the hallway carpets are not even fitted with raw edges. The room we had although big with 2 balconies was badly refurbished with old fashioned wardrobes and a badly fitted bathroom. We paid £3000 for 1 week at the beginning of August - we did expect more from the hotel and we were disappointed at the quality for 5 star hotel on Expedia.

Design is of course subjective. The bathroom is spacious, with whirlpool bath tub & white ceramic mosaic on the wall, big white marble sink counter and a window offering beautiful views. If you had shared with us that the decoration of the room and the fitting in the bathroom was not to you liking, we would have offered you another room for your stay. We strongly believe that service is the main asset for Hotels and we always pride ourselves for the staff performance. Please rest assured that we took under serious consideration your remarks and as we do renovation works and refurbishment every year, we will include refitting of this room on our upcoming winter novelties. Beautiful hotel, excellent staff and service, amazing views. A/C not great in our room but it was really hot. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was very good. As was lunch and dinner. Hotel a bit far would be nice if they offered shuttle to beach or town. Would recommend having a car. Overall we loved the hotel.

El personal y el hotel todo perfecto , pero la habitación cuádruple para un 5 estrellas deja muchísimo que desear. El armario muy pequeño hasta para 2 , la televisión es una pequeña antigua con cables por medio y un dvd cochambroso y además no se ve . La decoración de la habitación es horrible, antigua y mal mantenida ( siempre hablando de la cuádruple). El desayuno es muy escaso no merece la pena contratarlo.

Summer break
The hotel is very well located - close enough to Chora to even walk there but in a quiet hill. The staff were great (special thanks to Ellen in the reception and Dimitris in the restaurant/bar), making our stay easy and very enjoyable. The highlight of the property is the astonishing view from the pool area. Our room, with balcony, also offered a beautiful view. The room was sparkling clean, with a comfortable bed and effective air con. The bathroom was perfectly functional but perhaps a little tired. The restaurant food is very good and reasonably priced. The breakfast was also very good, but due to the Covid protocol it has to be ordered in advance and served individually (instead as in a buffet). Despite the challenging situation, especially in busy hours, the staff made the effort to serve the guests promptly.

Comfortable hill-top retreat
We spent a pleasant few days at Tharroe of Mykonos. The hotel is located atop a hill just under a mile out of the old town. The views (and sunsets) from the hotel are excellent, but footpath provision on Mykonos in general is not great and the walk down into town along busy

Das Hotel liegt mit spektakulärem Blick über die Altstadt mit wirklich fantastischen Aussichten. Besonders toll kann man den Sonnenuntergang bewundern. Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr, sehr gut. Hohes Niveau und für Mykonos mehr als akzeptable Preise. Abzüge gibt es für die Ausstattung. Manches ist in die Jahre gekommen, Ecken sind von Koffern abgefahren und das ist bei einem Hotel mit 5 Sternen nicht angemessen. Großes Minus ist außerdem das Fitnessstudio. Natürlich kann man bei einem kleinen Hotel in der Hinsicht auch nicht viel erwarten, aber der Raum ist lieblos eingerichtet, die Geräte sind nicht wirklich gut und man fühlt sich in dem Raum einfach nicht wohl. Auch die Aussicht von meinem Balkon aus war auf der einen Seite zwar großartig (in die Ferne) direkt unter mit jedoch, befand sich eine Fläche mit einer Wellblechhütte und Müll. Das muss und das darf eigentlich auch nicht sein.

We do refurbishments and renovations every year as we never seize to upgrade our facilities, whereas the gym area is fully equipped with two treadmills, 1 bicycle, 1 spin bike, 1 rowing machine, 2 benches, 1 Pegasus machine as well as dumbbells, mats, towels and complimentary shower products. Nevertheless, your comments have been passed to the general Manager for review and any issues found will be rectified. Regarding the corrugated iron construction, kindly note that it is placed by the Archaelogy of Greece for the protection of an ancient monument found in our premises. Τhe excavations have not been completed yet but the final plan is to build a transparent vaulted roof. Our guests can find more information in the hotel’s magazine found in each room.. Overall this hotel feels a lot more like a 3-star hotel that’s attempting to go for 5 but got lost along the way and forgot many basic essentials. The facilities are worn down, there is no attention to details and the furniture is old and not in any way premium. The official pictures are also not reflecting the current situation as there is a power line obstructing the what would have/has been a sweeping view from the pool area. It is clearly not on the hotel official pictures at the time of this review. The food for sale during the day. was good but the breakfast not so. In all fairness, the staff was very nice and always helpful, and the bed was comfortable, but this is to be expected from all properties, 0-5 stars. What also intrigues us very much is how this hotel got a 9.4 out of 10 rating on this website... (at the time of this review). For the price and given the extensive competition in Mykonos, not recommended, unless the place get a complete makeover.

Our breakfast buffet offers a wide range of high quality freshly made products to suit any taste or dietary preference. Please allow me to add that we strive to personalize the service, and work diligently to make each guest feel welcome and right at home, while offering all the amenities of a 5-star hotel. This is why we have a high ranking in all websites and booking engines and receive so many positive reviews from the vast majority of our guests. Additionally, all of our rooms are spacious, comfortable and bright, each featuring different decorative characteristics. The furniture pieces, both in public spaces and Rooms & Suites, are very carefully chosen and of excellent quality. We have followed a more classic decorative pattern paired with Art pieces and vivid colors which, as we believe, creates a balanced outcome to suit all tastes and preferences. However, I understand that aesthetics are subjective. Last but not least, kindly note that we do refurbishments and renovations every year as we never seize to upgrade our facilities and keep intact the high level of hospitality standards, Tharroe of Mykonos is known for.
