Green Cove Comfort

We enjoyed this pet-friendly home that is conveniently located to beautiful views of the river, shopping, restaurants, etc. The host was helpful and we definitely recommend this home for vacation retreats.

Perfect Getaway home

Loved staying in this home. Stayed 3 weeks and could've stayed forever. All the comforts home. Very cozy and felt right at home. Very nicely decorated. One of the best homes we've stayed at.

To Perfect

We used this home for our post-wedding retreat due to the location of the venue. It was perfect. Clean, plenty of room, large quiet back yard with more outdoor seating. The kids were very comfortable and everyone slept well.

Honey Bee Hideaway

It was a great stay, we met up with other family members there in Green Cove Springs, FL The house is a great size, had a big living room, To gather and visit with family. Easy access for my elderly parents.

Lovely property

This was so much better than a hotel and staying with family is awful. This place was like being "home". My two dogs loved it too. They were comfortable immediately and the neighborhood is very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay even though it was for a move out of Green Cove Springs. We will definitely stay again!

Bee Hive - suited our needs

Overall, def a 4.5 for the property as a whole. The fenced back yard was great for the pups, although it needed a good debris removal for several dead branches and such. And patio furniture showed some strain from weathering. But the layout of the house is very family-friendly and spacious. We managed to sit 6 comfortably at the little kitchen nook table that looks like it should only seat four. But it worked out just fine. We had a couple of repair concerns and the property manager replied quickly and immediately. Beds were acceptable for rentals. Plenty of lounging space in the great room if not the utmost comfy, we made it work. Could use another ottoman for kicking back in there, but we don’t mind being cozy so we enjoyed our family nights. Green Cove is a quaint little town and we enjoyed the location, central for us having friends and family to the N, S and E of there. Guests have access to the entire garage, so theoretically you could park inside it. But we brought a ping pong table and played round after round inside. The house is a bit sparsely decorated, but it was appointed well enough. Overall we were very pleased with our experience.

Cute little house

We enjoyed the stay overall. The bathrooms were smaller than expected, but was happy to have a walk-in shower. The living/kitchen area were nice.

Short stay for boat work

The Honey Bee Hideaway was perfect for us to get some work done on our boat for launch. It was very comfortable, nicely furnished and nice area. A close walk to a park for the pooch, a great back yard and gas grille. Sue and Bart were great to work with. Highly recommend a stay here if in Green Cove Springs.

River Exploration

We loved our stay! The house was immaculate, cleanest house we have stayed in. Super cute bee decorations. Location was convenient to any and everything. Plenty of towels and wash cloths, great appliances. We will book this property again. 5 out of 5 stars.

Clean Interior

Nice property

We had a wedding in Green Cove and needed a rental for 6 adults. This property worked great as it was close to the venue and the water. The property was roomy, clean, and perfect for what we needed. The only negative for us is that one of the rooms had 2 single beds without box springs, which was not comfortable for adults.

Great extended stay rental

We stayed here with our 16 month old and two dogs for over a month during a house renovation. Great location in town close to Spring Park and Spring Park Coffee; both are great places! It’s also very close to the ice cream place Dreamette; which is wonderful but we visited too often. House is well appointed with everything you need. Beds are comfortable which is so important for a long stay. The backyard is very large and great for the dogs. Plenty of off street parking included.

Lovely property conveniently located

We rented this home to visit family in the area. We were within walking distance of our family home, but so many other amenities. We were able to bike to the park an McDonald’s. The home looked exactly as pictured. The owners, Sue and Bart, were accommodating and responded promptly to any concerns or questions. I would rent this unit for future visits.

Nice stay

The house was spacious enough for myself, and my 3 teenage children. We felt at home during our stay. We played some games that were provided. We liked the bee theme throughout the house. The backyard was shaded for the majority of the day with several mature trees. If you're a light sleeper the morning traffic might wake you. We enjoyed the park, which was only a several-minute car ride from the house. Bart and Sue quickly responded to any questions that I had prior to and upon arrival. I was grateful to be able to park my electric car in the garage to charge. We would stay here again.

Awesome Location and Super Cute

The Honey Bee was fantastic. We stayed there for over three weeks. Super clean, quiet neighborhood and convenient to everything you'd want and need. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. The garage was very helpful to have, especially since we stayed during Hurricane Ian. Never lost power and kept use safe and dry! There are several different size bikes for use. The neighborhood was perfect for our two dogs as well, with lots of places to take them for a walk and explore. Local tip...head South on Pine Ave to see the original Gustafson Family residence. You can't miss the tribute to them and their first cow "Buttercup." GCS is truly a Small Town, USA.
