"The cabin was so cute and cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. There was both a window AC unit and a little space heater, which given the season (mid October), I made use of both...it was warm the day I checked in so I had the fan on the window unit on, then overnight the temps plummeted, and I had to switch to the heater, which was very effective and kept me nice and toasty. It was a little bit of a rough awakening having to go to the separate bathroom building in the rain one morning, but no different than any other campground, and the private units for toilet/shower instead of a community shower building was nice. I didn't need to make use of the laundry building or fire pit, but they are nice amenities, as well as the bike wash and the little bike repair kit in each cabin. Very thoughtful! It was a great location, set back so it felt private, but just minutes away from gas, food, and conveniences if needed. Also, there were some pretty horses across the way that were fun to watch. :-)"

"The history of this place is worth 5 stars. The original cabin built in 1800 is situated on a nice piece of land thats surrounded by trees and is very peaceful, despite only minutes from town. When I entered the house, I was expecting to see ghosts behind corners or hear footsteps across the floor, it's has that kind of vibe. The house was quirky, floors in the living room and bedrooms sloped, original woodwork and the stairs were narrow and steep, which just adds to the authenticity and age of the house. The host did a wonderful job creating a whimzical feeling, with antiques, books all over the house and a nice coffee/tea nook in the kitchen. An amazing place."

"This place was amazing. There were four different spots where our group could just hang out and look at the mountains. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the master bathroom shower was straight out of a luxury hotel. Brent was great to work with and responded to any message I sent within an hour. This place really made our annual trip so much better."

"We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was great! The only issue I had was the fire pit area is on a pretty steep slope. The road to get to the cabin is also very steep but we were told this in advance before renting."
