“We stayed off season and the weather could have been better. We had an issue with the door lock which could have been avoided if the key code had been texted or emailed instead of spoken over a poor connection. The cottage was clean and roomy. We stayed in the 1st floor bedroom which really needs a new mattress. The location is perfect for viewing Lake Huron without obstruction. Even with the windows closed you can hear the waves lap the shore.”

“The cabin was nice. The listing was not clear as to which cabin had an unobstructed view of the water. We were booked in the Garden cottage. It sets behind the other two cabins. You can see the water between the other two buildings. The cabin was comfortable and in a convenient location. ”

“We selected this property because it had a private beach and the cost was reasonable. The property is an efficient design, either a cottage, or a small house, that opens to the yard leading to the beach. It has 3 good sized BRs, 2 small bath rooms with a shower, no tub, a tight kitchen, without an oven, and in another area, a work area with a sink. The eating table is on the patio. The property decor is relaxing--white walls, doors, and bedding, and bronze fixtures, complimented with two……

“Perfect place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet. Our cottage was right on the beach and we were the only ones there with another couple a couple doors down. The cottage was the perfect size and judt as described. The bed was so comfortable, a rare find when vacationing. The beach and water were perfect with lots of other things to do within a reasonable distance. We will definitely be making future trips up to discover more of the area.”

“We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to……

“The house was great. So much space and beautiful setting. Was just what we needed.”

“We came up to explore the Lake Huron side of the state, and this location was perfect. Some days we went south, and some north, and everything was within 30-40 minutes. The home is very clean, and well supplied. We particularly appreciated the coffee supplies, washer and dryer and being allowed to bring our greyhounds. The only negative was road noise, but once I found the white noise maker and plugged it in, and found a setting we liked, we didn't notice the road noise as much. Our first night……

“The little cabin was perfect. Plenty of room for a couple. Maybe 100ft from the water. Will come back! Manager: maybe think about marking building numbers on the back of the houses where you park? Would’ve been helpful but we figured it out.”
