“This was a great place and very spacious. Very clean and great owners. They did warn us about the confusing light switches which was tough when we got there at night but all in all we figured it out. Our friends and I agreed we’d come back again so we could enjoy the beach. Rained while we were there but Michigan weather can’t be help beside which we were there for a quick trip for a hockey game. “We're from Georgia, and we were looking for a place that would have an eclipse rise at maximum coverage at sunrise. What better place than a lake? Well...the Great Lakes are very fickle beasts w.r.t. weather. Nevertheless, after numerous foggy mornings, we got a great view of what we wanted on the day that we needed. “The cabin is so cozy, clean, and exactly what I needed! Host is great and communicative and made check-in and checkout a breeze! Everything went seamlessly and I can't wait to come back! The state park is a nice walk, or super short drive with cool rocks and really nice trails. I had a couple of friends come out and stay a couple of nights and they absolutely adored the cabin and location as well. I. Super grateful to the host for sharing this amazing little place!”

“Cute cottage and fantastic beach! There is a three ring binder in the Cottage with everything you might need to know while you stay, it was very helpful. We went to the breakfast place recommended and as stated, it was amazing! Get the pancakes, you will be shocked! Do be aware, there is no oven. We brought food to prepare, but with out an oven had to change the dinner plans. It worked out fine though, we improvised! It was absolutely incredible to sleep with the bedroom window open, the sound……

“Beautiful cottage, excellent view, private, peacful sound of the waves, the hot tub! Very dog friendly, meaning, toys, waste clean up items and the doormat, dogs loved the saty as much as we did! “We selected this property because it had a private beach and the cost was reasonable. The property is an efficient design, either a cottage, or a small house, that opens to the yard leading to the beach. “Location was outstanding. Although the address on the mailbox needs to be shown in both directions. More deeper cleaning and windows washed. Shower door is about to fall off. The time we spent there was great. Our host was very friendly and gave flowers to my wife. Feeding the fish was very fun. They swarmed to the food. Fun to watch. The host dog cocoa would come over to visit. Last is Cell signal was nonexistent.”
