"Our stay at Tropical Hideaway was amazing. We booked it after our reservation on Union Island was destroyed by Beryl and were blown away by the whole experience. Martin and Julie live on site and provide all the extra touches you don't expect with a VRBO property. "Very good value for money. The house has beautiful views and a lovely breeze. A good kitchen and two good sized bedrooms. Ato the caretaker was very helpful and Clotilde,the owner was very accommodating. The island offers a good selection of restaurants within walking distance. On the other hand. "The title says it all. You don't often come by a place on VRBO where the actual place is better than the pictures, but this is one of them. The view is unreal and the host really has thought of everything for guests to get the most out of staying on Bequia. My wife and I spent a week of our honeymoon here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking at staying on the island."

"Our overall impression of the property is it needs significant work, for the price it is a bad choice. The housekeeper was lovely but the toilets were not working for over 48 hours as the water tanks were not filling properly, they need to add instructions to boil the water as it is rain water and not safe to drink so we were boiling water each day, the setting is between dilapidated buildings and a fisherman's boat repair shop. "For a small hotel the staff, facilities and rooms have so much to offer. It’s not a mainstream hotel so the rooms are very Caribbean and traditional style but it adds so much to your experience. The chef and staff are beautiful, me and partner wanted to invite the chef back to the uk, such incredible flavours come from the kitchen. Definitely had the best sleep ever, the Bequia suite is amazing! me and my partner will be coming back yearly to visit family in Saint Vincent and agreed we can’t wait to come back Bequia and revisit the hotel. Even our daughter tells everyone about it, such a great place for a family experience."
