“I love historic older buildings! The suite we paid for was more spacious than the photos showed. There were a few things about the cleanliness of the room like there was toothpaste on the wall and mirror from previous guests and also what looked like rubber glue. Also previous guests left sticky pancake syrup on one of the chairs when I sat down. Warm water got it right out of the chair with no staining but my pants were an issue. The towels in the room and the pool had a funky odor and the pool……

“A comfortable stay downtown Portland. The room was not too big, but comfortable. The only thing was parking. Not a lot in the area, valet parking was expensive, $48/day.”

“We stayed here for 2 nights. The room is tidy and clean, the beds are quite comfortable. The front desk staffs are friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the area is quiet and safe, and it is only a walk distance to the Washington Park. We had a pleasant stay!”

“My family and I enjoyed the hotel. The kids said the pool was a bit chilly but still fun. The only complaint we had was that the food we got delivered from room service was not that good. We order fries and garlic bread. They both came lukewarm at best and a bit soggy like they had been sitting for a while. The staff was amazing and the room was nice as well. ”

“The hotel is EXTREMELY not clean. There were bed bugs on our mattress and I got bitten badly. After we examined the mattress, we also noticed a huge stain at the end of the bed, couldn't tell if it's coffee or blood. The front desk assistant manager Sage was helpful in that she helped us get our payment back and moved us to the Hampton Court hotel next door after we reported the bed bug issue. But still--I have never lived in a hotel where there were bedbugs, even in motels that are $50 dollars……

“Stay 6 nights for biz trip. Friendly staffs for my late check-in & early check-out. Quiet location and several malls are nearby by the Car. Acceptable breakfast and clean room. However, easy to be wake up by the noise when neighboring guests closed their doors. To sum up, this hotel is still my first favorite for next stay.”
