"The hotel was everything I hoped for, and more. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was hot and plentiful, the staff went over the top to look after my needs, in spite of my asking for several requests. An adjustment was needed for the fan, and I needed help with understanding the thermostat and TV, and the hotel was prompt and efficient at solving all of my questions. I would definitely consider staying at the Hampton Inn if I was in Ottawa in future."

"Good room size. Clean hotel. Disappointed on arrival that I was put on the 2 floor with a dog because they had forgotten I was bringing one. I did have communication about the dog prior to the trip. It would have been much easier to take the dog out regularly. The only other thing that was minor but slightly sad is I asked if the breakfast had bacon and I was told they did have bacon each day. When I got down to the breakfast they only had sausage patties (which I don't eat). Again this was a small thing."

"We love staying at Hilton Garden Inn. Our grandchildren love the pool and hot tub. Last time we stayed the restaurant served a sit down amazing breakfast, however, this time it was a buffet and not a very child friendly buffet at all. A waffle or pancake machine is needed for small children. My picky 6 yr old had 10 Cheerios and a glass of juice and we were charged the full price for a child (almost $9.00). The room was terrific we enjoyed watching the air plane take off and come in. Sleeping at night was difficult as there was a roaring of some sort the was continuous all night and even though we were on the 8th floor there was random loud banging under our room that must have been coming from the boiler/maintenance room. I would not recommend staying in any rooms at the back of the hotel. Very noisy. The planes taking off and landing were quiet."
