Lovely location, disappointing customer service
Lovely location. Reception staff were quite unhelpful with information at check in and needed prompting eg what time is breakfast?, where is breakfast? Where is the lift? etc We stayed on a B&B basis only to find a couple of days later that they offered All Inclusive. This information would have been welcomed at check in, as we would have upgraded our stay but couldn’t when we requested as we had less than 3 days remaining. We had an incident during our stay and all I will say, as a result, is ensure you use the safe in your room for anything valuable. Overall a nice hotel but the management/staff could do with a refresher in customer service.

We had a great time at the beautiful Lake Como! Very close and convenient to everything! The staff were great,parking was near by, the breakfast buffet was very good, lots of things to choose from. Great experience!

Positivo: posizione ottima, camera stupenda, personale reception gentile ed efficiente, rapporto prezzo qualità ottimo. Negativo: alcune sbavature nella manutenzione (pila serratura scarica - ma immediatamente sostituita), pannello del controsoffitto mancante e appoggiato nel corridoio, colazione povera, personale ristorante alienato dalla confusione stile mensa e sgarbato.

Ett äldre väldigt brittiskt hotell. Hade all inclusive och maten var bra de 3 nätter jag bodde där. Det fanns en bar på hela hotellet och den låg i källaren men det fanns hiss son gick upp till terrassen. Poolen är del av en pontonbrygga som jag inte tror direkt tillhör hotellet. I den baren ingick kaffe, öl och vin fram till kl. 18. Lite konstigt upplägg. Väldigt tidig utcheckning kl 10.00. Nu har jag varit där men jag återkommer inte.

Unser Zimmer hatte einen fantastischen Blick auf den Comer See. Allerdings ist das Zimmer schon in die Jahre gekommen. Eine Renovierung wäre dringend angebracht. Im Hotel wohnen fast nur ältere Gäste aus Großbritannien. Entsprechend ist das Frühstück. Die schlechte Qualität des Frühstücks ist auch der Hauptgrund dafür, dass ich hier nicht mehr buchen würde. Darüberhinaus finde ich es ärgerlich, wenn man für Nutzung des hoteleigenen Pools bezahlen muss.

I normally try to be positive in my stay. But, the only positive thing from this hotel is the location. The rest was disappointment. The room was outdated and dirty impression as well as had unpleasant smell. Some staff were not very friendly. the breakfast was busy and food was not good. Uncooked bacon, eggs and sausages.

The staff were lovely and the view of the lake and pool area was great. The hotel was very dated with old bathrooms and the lift felt like it would break down when you were using it. The breakfast was not good, would definitely not recommend paying for the breakfast.

Rubber Seal from window was hanging off, Door handle for room door was loose. Pealed off paint fallen in shower. Your only given one key card. Staff knew little about the area. General room disrepair to the room. Would be good if staff gave the room a once over before guest arrives. Location was good and the room was clean.

Allgemein: Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße und ist, wie man auf den Bildern sieht nicht gerade das neuste. Im Schnitt waren eher ältere Gäste (Ü-50) vor Ort. Also wenig "junge" Leute. Sauberkeit: Unser Zimmer war im großen und ganzen sauber, daran war nichts auszusetzen. Personal: Man wird dort eher weniger beachtet. An unserem 3ten Tag haben wir, wie im Zimmer beschrieben unsere Handtücher auf den Badezimmerboden gelegt, in der Hoffnung dann auch neue zu bekommen. Dies war leider nicht der Fall demnach hatten wir am Ende des Tages weder unsere alten noch die neuen. Nachdem wir an der Rezeption nach neuen gefragt haben, wurde uns zuerst nur gesagt "wir tauschen nicht jeden Tag!" Nachdem wir dann gesagt haben wir haben gar keine mehr haben sie uns dann mit murren neue Handtücher gegeben. Frühstück: wir haben für unseren Aufenthalt von 5 Nächten Frühstück dazu gebucht. Dieses war allerdings alles andere als gut. Die Brötchen waren höchstens alle 2 Tage annähernd frisch. Die Auswahl an aufschnitten war wirklich mager. Es war eher ein English breakfast anstatt italienisch. Wirklich sehr schade. Pool: Da der Pool überall groß geworben ist hatten wir große Erwartungen.Welche dann leider nicht bestätigt wurden.Nicht nur, dass der Hauptpool auf der anderen Strasenseite war, sondern das dieser dann auch noch für "Nicht-All-Inklusive" Gäste gebührenpflichtig war. Das heißt, pro Tag ca 25€ um dort schwimmen zu gehen. Die "Poolanlage" sonst ist eigentlich schön gemacht.

Great location, poor food
Como was an amazing location, the hotel was pretty much as described with an amazing pool on the lake. The downside to the hotel was the quality of the morning breakfasts. Had we known that this was an all inclusive resort (please note this wasn’t advertised as an all inclusive and we didn’t book it as that) we would not have stayed as the quality of food at an all inclusive is usually terrible. It very much catered to its audience and for that you can’t blame the hotel, it’s just not what we were expecting. However the pool facilities and the location to the ferry was brilliant.

Amazing pool with a great view. A bit disappointed with the hotel itself. Bed terribly uncomfortable, rooms outdated and in need of repairs. Do not be tempted with the all inclusive package, food is mediocre at best.

The rooms were outdated and tired looking. I had a fridge in the room which stank discussing. The upside however was the view from our balcony across the lake to Bellagio. Lots of local restaurants and small shops. Parking was difficult and not available on site.

The room was in really poor condition, even cracks on the wall. The entire building is old and in really bad maintenance. Service is for masses and not friendly.

Hotel is in dire need of renovation. It is practically falling apart. Breakfast area is like a canteen, very noisy and hectic. Rooms are very old with lots of wear and tear to the paintwork and stains on the chair. The one lift serving the 200+ rooms takes about 10 minutes to go from top to bottom. Free parking is claimed by the hotel, which is over 100m away, very unsafe and do not even attempt if you have a nice car. It is unpaved, very steep and full of potholes. Damaged my car. When I asked about the free parking I was then offered to pay €10 to park behind the hotel. Why would I do that when it is €7 per day to park in front of the lake in a much safer place. Probably the worst hotel I have stayed in and made what should have been a lovely trip to lake como a stressful ordeal. Do visit lake como however, as it is very beautiful, just don’t stay in this hotel. Avoid at all costs!

Poor rooms and facilities. Good pool and bar
Basic rooms. Towels weren’t changed the entire week even though they were meant to be every 3 days. Which in my opinion isn’t regularly enough in the first place. Poor bathroom and toiletries. Tired room, dirty curtains and broken door/window. Pool and bar were great though! And with a platinum band (all inclusive) we had access to many restaurants and bars with great selection of food and drink!

Hotel pazzesco, struttura da 5 stelle, camere grandi lussuose e con balcone vista lago/piscina galleggiante, un sogno! Nell’all inclusive oltre ai pasti è compreso l’ingresso alle due piscine della struttura, accesso a cocktail bar in hotel e piscina e sconti su ristoranti affiliati. Menù di colazione pranzo e cena molto molto variegati e buoni, adatti a chi vuol mangiare e a chi vuol rimanere attento alla dieta. Unico appunto il parcheggio non è gratuito ma ce n’è uno gratuito a 100 metri molto ampio. Solarium all’ultimo piano e dehor sulla facciata vista lago. Passaggio in barca per bellagio e ritorno compresi nel pacchetto. Per me questa vacanza è stata un sogno! Io e il mio ragazzo ci vogliamo assolutamente tornare!

notre séjour s' est bien passé globalement,à part quelques mauvaises surprises;parquet de chambre qui couine à chaque pas ,peinture qui manque un peu partout, la poignet de porte qui ne tenait plus, le climatiseur qui a inondé d'un coup la chambre,parking gratuit qui n'en est pas un et payant 10 euros par nuit à part ça la cuisine était bonne au restaurant de l'établissement.

Awful
Awful hotel. Very poorly managed. Brekfast was really sloppy and messy and the food was super cheap and not tasty. Even the croissants and coffe was bad. You have to pay 8 euro for a sunbed and 8 euro for an umbrella at the pool. Do not stay here!

Något slitet hotell med bra läge. Det som drar ner betyget är en rätt dålig frukost med oordning o stress. Verkar vara pulveräggröra och inte många alternativ till pålägg och mycket tog slut fort. Stor kostnad att gå till hotellets pool (även så sent som kl 17 ) då man får betala 8 euro per solstol o parasoll.

Old hotel but charming. I wish they had early check in we arrived an hour before time and were not able to check in. Food was ok no complaints there but the lift did break down one evening and was fixed by morning.

Mye bra, men styr unna frokosten :-)
Fin beliggenhet ved Como sjøen. Greit hotell til en fornuftig pris, men frokosten var IKKE bra. Ferske rundstykker på mandag, men tirsdag, onsdag, torsdag og fredag, var de flere dager gamle. Bacon og omelett under enhver kritikk. Dropp frokost, og spis et annet sted. Prøvde ikke andre måltider ved hotellet. Veldig greit utgangspunkt for å ta ferge over til Bellaggio, og andre steder.
