“This cabin is the perfect getaway for those that enjoy the outdoors, especially at Hood Canal. The cabin is great for fishing, oyster harvesting, and just sitting back to take in the breath taking scenery. It also served as a great base camp for exploring the surrounding area. Hoodsport is 5 mins away and Lake Cushman is only 10-15 mins away. As for the cabin itself, it was so clean and well equipped with everything you need. “Loved the property and neighborhood. Tons of character in the cabin and lots of room. We went to do some hiking at ONP and the proximity was great. It’s a gorgeous area and in January very quiet and peaceful. The house has a cozy room with a fireplace for family games and a big room upstairs for movies and games. We loved the retro vibe! We’d love to come back with other family members for a group stay!”

“Checking in was very easy! House is right on the beach, stairs directly in front of the cabin so it makes it easy to walk right down to the beach and grab oyster or let you little ones find treasure’s! We used the fire pit which was great and we roasted s’mores as well! My son found a wine bottle that had floated to shore with a message in it, he couldn’t have been more excited! “This has been one of the best places we have stayed. It was clean, warm and very comfortable. The location was perfect for us and our vacation plans. We loved the seclusion and privacy it offered and the lake was amazing and tranquil. Just perfect.”

“This is the cutest little beach cabin I have ever seen. It has had a bit of renovation, keeping the beach cabin vibe. The view is terrific, but you may need sunglasses while making breakfast. (There is a window shade...) There are huge opening windows in the front of the cabin, giving it an open-air feeling. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the Murphy bed was very comfortable. “This place was fantastic! Super cute little cabin in a quiet neighborhood. The private beach was FANTASTIC, and the lake is so beautiful! Also a short drive to Hoodsport and the Staircase Loop hike in Olympic. We will definitely be back. The propane fire pit was great to be able to use, considering the burn ban. My only tips would be to bring dish towels as there were none, and your own non-stick cookware, as the ones available were pretty thrashed. Minor details of a wonderful vacation!”

“Great getaway for my husband and I. Wish the hot tub was covered so we could enjoy it when it was raining/snowing. And it was closw to the road, not very private and not a clear set up for access to and from the house. Wish there was a tv in the bedrooms to enjoy a movie. But we had a lovely time.”
