Be sure to get the breakfast because it is a feast of local flavors. Wonderful hosts who can make excellent dining recommendations. Worth the money for a once in a lifetime experience. ”

“What a beautiful region & remarkable home! My family of 4 spent two weeks in this city’s most enchanting, most photographed medieval cottage & loved our stay. The home is quiet at night, beds were comfortable, washer & toilet on ground floor were convenient & fans for cooling were provided. We enjoyed the small patio for morning coffee & it was so nice to step out the door & have all of Sarlat at our feet. Or within 15 minutes be in another perfectly preserved voted ‘most beautiful’ medieval……

L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter les sites importants du Périgord noir. Le seul petit bémol : on pourrait fournir sel, poivre, pq, sac de poubelle, produit pour le lave-vaisselle etc. pour un petit supplément. Ainsi on ne serait pas obligé de courir toute de suite au supermarché, surtout quand on arrive tard le soir.”

“The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats.……
