"The house is a perfect place to explore the Dordogne and the Lot area. Being located close to the A20, a day trip Toulouse or Limoges is also possible. Locally there are so many activities to do and places to visit in this area. Some things not to miss are Sarlat-la-Canede's night market on Thursday evenings (get there early as parking is a nightmare) and canoeing on the Dordogne.The property itself is situated on the outskirts of Gourdon, in quiet countryside surrounded by lots of wildlife, but is alsi only a short drive from Gourdon's centre and the loacal supermarkets.The property is very clean and has all the amenities that you need. Downstairs are two bedrooms, kitchen and the bathroom. Upstairs there is a very comfortable living room area with a sofa and TV and a dining room that also doubles as a third bedroom. Everything in the property worked and was well maintained. All the beds were very comfortable.Bernard met us when we arrived and showed us around the property and also left us a small welcome gift of local produce which was very nice.We really enjoyed our holiday, the house was perfect and it is in a great location, we cannot fault any of it."

"L'hébergement était bien plus agréable que nous l'avions imaginé. Pour une fois les photos ne sont pas trompeuses loin sans faut. Hervé est un hôte charmant, prévenant sans jamais être omniprésent. Le cadre de vie est en pleine campagne mais à moins d'un kilomètre des commerces et 1,8 km pour la boulangerie. La piscine et la terrasse offrent un vue dégagée sur un espace forestier. L'aménagement est très confortable pour 6 personnes, on n'a jamais l'impression de se marcher dessus.Bref une belle semaine de vacances."
