Wonderful log cabin near Yosemite

We were looking for a place to unwind and relax near Yosemite - the Cub Inn was perfect for us. Nestled between pine trees up a small hill, it’s private, has a lot of space and all the amenities for a family vacation. Would definitely go back again!

Amazing place for a family union

This property is well maintained and is the perfect home for a large family gathering. We were 20 adults for the long weekend and had plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked, there was wood supplied for the fireplace, well stocked with towels (more than we need) and toilet supplies.

This was a great house for our family gathering. The house is very large to accommodate a lot of people. The dining room was very large for our large meals. The T.V. was huge, the living rooms furniture clean and comfortable. It was a great house for a lot of people.

Cozy Home

Such a lovely home to spend a family getaway in. The home is well equipped and nicely set up for large gatherings. The home has such a cozy vibe and we left with such a nice feeling of having spent the weekend at the home. Even though the home was up in the woods, it was well maintainted.

Great House for a Big Group!

This house was perfect for our large group! The space was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone. We loved that the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils, and the bathrooms were well-supplied. Groveland is a charming town, and the house is conveniently located for exploring Yosemite. While we missed having access to Pine Mountain Lake, we found another nearby lake to rent boats for a fun day on the water. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!

Great for our family

This place was great for our entire family. Nice and spacious.It had all that we needed. The kids loved having so many areas to play. Our only complaint would be the master bed needs a new mattress. It was very uncomfortable. Overall a great experience for everyone.

Nice House for Family Reunion

We had a great time at this house for 5 nights. Loved the log cabin construction, and the decor was very appropriate for the house. There is a bathroom for every bedroom (6), which was very nice for our family of 22. We loved the large outdoor deck. It was a fantastic gathering place both mornings and evenings. The location in Groveland was perfect for trips to Yosemite, Lake Don Pedro, and other local river swimming holes. The kitchen had everything we needed (a second refrigerator would have been nice). The grand kids really enjoyed the playground outside and the toys and games in the house. There were a couple of small maintenance issues our first morning that VaCasa took care of right away. They warn you about the steep driveway, and they are not kidding. Getting my boat up the driveway and turned around was not easy. Approach the property from the east for the easiest approach for trailers. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for our group of 20

No one in our party had any complaints about this stay. No issues from reservation to checkout. Home had all essential amenities. The house was clean, well maintained and everything worked well. Grocery stores and nice restaurants are close by too. I highly recommend this rental.

Condition of property

The home structure and location are amazing but the property and furniture need some tender loving care - several of the mattresses needed to be replaced as they were uncomfortable and the furniture was very worn. Not sure when the last time some one did a visual inspection. We loved the size of the home and the deck to sit and visit on.

Beautiful home and great location, but unfortunately we encountered many mice during our stay. There were a number of dead mice in traps and alive mice families running around in the rooms which made some rooms unable to be of use. Completely unsanitary in that regards. Despite this, (multiple photos and videos of the incident submitted) the host denied to refund more than 15% of the cost and Vrbo did not support in this process.

Huge house in the woods

Very roomy old house in the forest. Perfect location for visiting Yosemite as a large group. However....Great improvement needed with regard to cleanliness. Bedrooms on lower floor in need of an upgrade. Garbage disposal was an issue. The garage was overflowing with not only our garbage but the previous guests as well. Sorry to be so critical because we did enjoy our 5 days there but no denying the cleanliness issue

House was great but when arrived code did not work to enter the house. App said contact local number for help yet no local number was in the app. Called the 800 number and took hours before being contacted back. Luckily a sliding door was unlocked so we were able to get in. Other than that the house was great

Family Getaway

The house was enormous and just perfect for all 19 people that joined us. We had space for everyone and then some. It las a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy some down time. The kids enjoyed the games and the outside play area. We will definitely be back.

Awesome cabin!

This home was so spacious! The AC worked great, laundry offered two sets washer/dryer for a crowd, spacious kitchen, bed and bathrooms. We did deal with an ant issue in kitchen area and feel with the size of this property, a larger stove/oven would be ideal as you will be more than likely cooking for a crowd. Property manager was quick to respond to a few questions we had.
