“Great location”

“My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with our dog and have a lovely time! The cottage was the perfect size for us and was very comfortable and quiet. The location was great too!”

“Generally speaking my wife and I had a comfortable stay but some pics of the exterior property must be old, it is kind of overgrown in the front and dead leaves were everywhere until a landscaping guy came, but he blew leaves all over our car and bikes that were on the front porch. Also, the entry keypad is not backlit so it is extremely hard to use. The only other things we thought were a bit off were that the dryer did not work very well at all, and the bathroom tub has moldy black caulking……

“Very clean and peaceful setting. Convenient to area stores and downtown. A little more info on where AC system thermostat and all other appliances info was would help.”

“The 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for me and my 2 married friends to visit St Mary. They stayed in the queen bed room and me in the twin room. Really cute fenced in patio on the side and a separate covered front porch as well (we kept our bikes there while it rained). Great location for biking around St Mary and also taking the ferry to Cumberland Island!”

“We traveled to Fernandina Beach to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a short stay. We booked this property because my daughter was bringing friends and the bed situation in this house was just right. My daughter was able to stay with her friends in one bedroom while I had the other bedroom. There was also space in the main part of the house for a queen size air mattress. The house was very clean and as pictured in the listing photos so we were happy. We also enjoyed a couple of the features……

“Our second year at the cottage and it was better than the first. Clean, comfortable and steps to the beach. We couldn’t have been happier with our two weeks here!”

“This was the perfect place for 2 families during a week long spring break trip. We had 4 teenage girls and 2 sets of parents. The accommodations were above and beyond. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels for all. The kitchen was very well stocked with all of the essentials and then some. We had a problem with the elevator upon arrival and needed it as we had a teenager with a torn ACL. The host was so sweet and very quick to send help and the elevator was up and going. “The location is great with only steps to the pool. The pool pavilion is very nice and lots of shade. There is a very nice boardwalk to the beach. The house is very well stocked and comfortable seating for all in the general living area.”

“Amazing, cozy getaway place, central located to pier village. You could not ask for anything more. The space, was warm and inviting and had all of the amenities that you would need for a perfect getaway. It was exceptionally clean, well stocked (towels, bed linens, etc) and the beds slept great. This is a place we love to stay at when we go and will definitely book it again in the future. As far as location you are within minutes of Pier Village, which is a very easy leisurely walk, as well as……

“the house was ideal for our family - the kids stayed safely in the poolhouse. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Great kitchen, sitting areas, bathrooms were updated and clean. Our only compliant was some of the accessories described were not accurate - the bikes for the kids were not working, only two beachchairs with the others rusted shut, etc. We also had a pool cleaning issue but that can happen. Just can't give it a 5 star with a couple of the "misses" - we would for sure rent……

“Very close to historical downtown and other shopping. What I didn’t like was dusty inside and the disposing of our trash was not super clear. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again or any other Tucker Stay property.”
