The hotel needs badly to be upgraded. It’s beautiful (especially the gardens), but the premises need to be enhanced. No dedicated lanes for swimmers: too crowded, and - despite the hotel’s rules - people are allowed to wear clothes and drink spirits in the swimming pool. Also, astonishingly, the hotel does not refund you at all if you cancel your reservation (even with a long notice). Just some water trickling in my room’s shower. This hotel is undoubtedly overrated. The staff is wonderful. Excellent location.

the hotel charged me taxes ,I have duo nationality and living in the USA I wasn't not entitled to pay taxes but they charge me any way I stay in many hotels in the country and I never pay taxes so make sure you show American passport or other passport to avoid this

El hotel es bueno aunque antiguo. Lastimosamente viajaba con bebe y me dieron una habitacion en piso segundo y NO hay elevador. Esperamos el botones pero estaba ocupado con otra familia La comida estuvo bien aunque algunos empleados no son tan amables como otros.

Very beautiful property with large rooms, great staff, good food and wonderful amenities such as large pool, suitable for laps (a rarity in Colombia) and lovely gardens and interior courtyards throughout. Highly recommend.

Safe and clean rooms, steps away from the Basilica
Hotel with safe and clean rooms, located just blocks away from la Basilica de Buga. My trip to Buga fell on the second week of the month when many come to the Basilica to pray. The folks at the reception were really kind and friendly.

Lo que no me gusto del personal, es que la administradora de turno, trato de hacerme creer que no había terminal electrónica adecuada para pagar el hotel con tarjeta. Argumentando que debía conseguir efectivo. Y qué tal vez mis tarjetas estaban dañadas. Todo mentira. Eso en el cheking.

Lovely quaint 1950s build made to look much older. Beautiful gardens and most of the staff were very friendly. Restaurant and pool drink and food orders took up to 40 minutes, and every room has clear evidence of deterioration. The pool is large not too deep and a perfect temperature. Rooms are very plain with no coffee tea service. I would stay here again as Buga is an amazing city!

The hotel is within walking distance of everything in Buga and the staff was amazing. The furniture and air conditioning do need to be updated though.
