“Trudy and Bob were wonderful hosts and their accommodations were resplendent: beautifully and playfully decorated, lush landscaping, awesome views overlooking the beach below. The guest house was like an artist’s small castle; the kitchen was well appointed. We were given a tour of the open-air market on Tuesday. We saw (and heard!) howler monkeys and coati and iguanas and vultures and hummingbirds, all inside the compound’s grounds, lots of exotic flora and fauna. There were several beaches……

From the first moments here it became obvious that a fusion of vision, passion and love are at the heart of this Costa Rican Gem. We enjoyed our amply stocked kitchen and comfortable dining area, and Whitney was so thoughtful with local recommendations to restaurants, horse rides, surf breaks and more! “We loved the pool and outdoor area! The landscape is truly beautiful and the pool temperature perfect. The patio and barbecue for Casa Nautical really added to it. Inside we had some issues since the unit was not equipped with dish clothes, tea towels and there seemed to be a mix up with the cleaners that we were even there. They wash the sheets once a week but missed us and then brought the wrong size. The manager is prompt to offer solutions but it took a couple of weeks to get everything……
