"Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. "Book tours and tastings at La Rosa as soon as you book your room as they sell out. If traveling from Pinhao, I recommend arranging a car before you travel. There is a single uber/bolt driver and he lives outside the area so waits are long. There are many alternative private transfers that you can book but you won’t want to be walking your bags. The staff and rooms were fantastic. Comfortable bedding and pillow options. The breakfast buffet is everything you need and dinner at the restaurant was wonderful."
