The place is ok. Not too impressed. Apt 322 was nice but faucets are old and water is not controllable. Shower head holder in master bdrm is broken. Decor is nice. Washing machine is inoperable. WiFi is the worst!! Only works in lobby minimally and in room balcony but not that great. Second bdrm beds are very uncomfortable. Front desk clerk was not very helpful with instructions on how things work in the room or any info around the area. There was access after lobby closes yet we were not informed of the key card to access, which you have to pay 500 dominican pesos and they refund upon check-out. Also when asked about late check out it was advised there isn't any however when the check out date came a paper was slipped under the door & it indicated the later check out would cost an additional $30 USD. There are NO Beach Towels in the room. There are only bath towels and since washer was not working we had to reuse. Very limited supply if more than 2 or 3 guests.
The area has a nice bar and grill Marbella (MBG) there was a live band and the food was decent. Drinks ok and also an ice-cream place Splash. To the left of the bldg turn right by end and across Banco Popular there are 2 bars that have music by DJ. One has a Drinks store where you buy your liquor and the other has a bar where they serve you. Both are loud and sort of compete with one another, but fun to hang out in for the night. Overall nice place but it can either be crazy busy or very slow. Beautiful beach!!
