Hébergement rural authentique

Un petit hotel au calme sur les hauteurs de Guïmar, dans une ancienne ferme. La vue sur l'ocean et l'ile de la Grande Canarie au loin etait juste fantastique. Un seul bemol, les rues sont etroites, il est mieux d'avoir un petit vehicule. Les proprietaires cubains font aussi restaurant. Ils etaient en vacances pendant notre sejour et le restaurant etait fermé mais la carte semblait allechante. Nous avons adoré nos 5 nuits loin de la foule de touristes des grosses stations balneaires. Avec une voiture, tout est accessible de toute façon

Ett kort uppehåll med lugn och ro bortom turiststressen vid kusten. Väldigt personligt hotell, enkelt men trevligt och rymligt rum, bra badrum. Terrasser, trädgård, restaurang, allt mycket charmigt. Vackra utsikter. Rekommenderas för en romantisk ’get-away’. Var beredd på att köra på krokiga, branta och trånga gator.

Beautiful rural hotel. Our room had a plunge pool and mountain and sea views. Staff were friendly and food was delicious. 100% recommend and will definitely stay again.

En general estuvimos bien, aunque con algunos detalles a tener en cuenta. Está algo alejado del nucleo del pueblo, por lo que para descansar es ideal, no se escucha ningún ruido, salvo algún gallo dando los buenos días😅 y se tarda muy poquito en llegar al centro en coche. Las camas eran cómodas y el aire acondicionado nos vino genial. La habitación era bastante grande, con terraza y tenía una neverita para poder poner lo que quieras, hervidor de agua, cafetera de cápsulas y sobres con infusiones. Las vistas son espectaculares, lástima del estanque que hay delante del restaurante que no lo tienen limpio. No tuvimos tiempo de disfrutar de la zona chillout y de la piscina desmontable. El acceso por carretera está bien señalizado con carteles, cosa que se agradece, pero por una carretera complicada muy estrecha, hay que ir con mucho cuidado. Cuando llegas no hay ninguna indicación de dónde se encuentra la recepción, es bastante incómodo ir con el equipaje sin saber donde ir. La habitación era para tres, pero se les pasó el detalle de poner jabón y vasos para los tres. Una estancia agradable y que si se diera el caso volveríamos a repetir.

Super agréable séjour !

Séjour très agréable, la chambre très propre est grande, tout à fait conforme à la description avec une petite terrasse à l arrière et vue sur la mer au loin à l avant. Le jardin et l extérieur est très bien entretenu, le propriétaire est toujours en activité avec un pinceau à la main. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, pris au restaurant avec une petite fontaine et ses carpes colorées. J ai adoré le jardin avec tous ses détails et la touche deco qui fait toute la différence ! Bref je reviendrai en famille !!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfasts were outstanding - plentiful and delicious. Our room and the communal hallways and terraces were beautiful. We had so much space - a bedroom with gorgeous sea views, a dining and seating area with a fridge and a private terrace with plunge pool (you can't actually swim in it) with sea and mountain views. It was blissful. The first night arriving in the dark we did worry that it seemed completely isolated after our satnav took us the wrong way (use the full address, not the postcode) but you can actually walk into Guimar where there a few bars and more than initially meets the eye but it is a quiet town. But you can walk up into the mountains or go to the beach and restaurants at El Puertito and see so many landscapes in a tiny distance there is plenty to do. Or just sunbathe on the terrace :)

Charming hotel with amazing breakfast

Charming hotel with very nice and service minded staff. Be mindful that there are a lot of stares, both to get into the hotel from the parking lot and within the hotel. The breakfast was amazing!

Had a lovely nights stay here. Was a great price and dinner and breakfast were also very reasonable. Lovely outside area looking into the mountain. More of a traditional property with older features but if you don’t want the modern new build, this could well be for you
