Morgantown w/ Pools and Tennis!

The Highlights

Sunshine on my Shoulders is a custom 4 bedroom, 4 bath beach home decorated with coastal elegance. The oversized kitchen and living areas were designed to accommodate a large group in comfort and other custom features include granite counters and tile surrounds throughout. Relax in a rocking chair or dine at the table on the back porch enjoying the sounds of the gulf. This home is designated for families. Pro-Tip: One of the two neighborhood pools in on the way to the beach so plan to stop for a dip!

The Space

Guests really appreciate the modern furnishings and touches. Solid surface flooring throughout and soft neutral colors provide the perfect retreat for a restful beach vacation. Three King bedrooms with private baths are furnished with memory foam mattresses. The bunk room provides sleeping for 7, with a trundle available, and a private bath. Triple twin bunks and double full bunks all also have memory foam mattresses.

* Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.
