Gulf Shores

Property location was excellent. House was overall as described with exception of broken hot tub cover. Overall cleanliness was not what we expected for the price point. Sand in hot tub on arrival, hairs on bathroom floors and in showers. Property management was prompt with replies and information leading up to the stay. It was a great stay and awesome property, would consider this property and management company again for sure.

The property was in a great location with a beautiful view. We were so disappointed to learn that the elevator was broken upon arrival, but we were assured that it would be repaired promptly. Each time that I communicated with Harris Realty, the repair timeline changed. The reason we chose the property was for the elevator since we had some people with mobility issues. Since the elevator was never repaired, we received a free night. That was a nice gester but my arthritis kept me from staying the extra night. The stairs put such a toll on my knees that I had to go home, and the other person with knee issues was pretty much confined to the main floor for the entire trip. The disappointment and pain were more costly than the price of the rental which was an expensive lesson in false advertising. Next time, we will comfirm that the rental has a "working" elevator before renting. Teachers do not have extra money to spend and not get what was advertised.
