This Penthouse condo was perfect for our family. The location was perfect for kid friendly fun and great resturants. The kids could not stop talking about how much fun they had. Memories that will last forever.

Beautiful!

Promise Kept

Our family of 5 in one PH condo along with extended family of 7 in another PH condo gathered to uphold a promise to our mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She passed away last year but asked us to continue to get together locally and travel together - especially at the beach - her favorite place.We enjoyed Island Royale. The room was super clean and had plenty of room for everyone’s comfort. Beds were super comfy. View from the front facing beach were breathtaking but the view from the small balcony on the parking lot side was actually my favorite. Everything is lit up at night. We will def keep Island Royale on the list of our favorites. Thank you for sharing your home with us for our family to Keep a Promise.

Great stay

We have been going to Gulf Shores for several years now. We loved how close we were to places, walked almost everywhere. Kids used the pool sone instead of the beac and loved it. Views were awesome. Would definitely stay there again

Easy beach access and great view

While the interior is getting out dated, we weren’t there for the indoors. Excellent beach access and easy walking distance to restaurants. Only complaint about the place was the very noisy and uncomfortable queen bed. They should replace that, but everything else was ok.

Beautiful condo

Our stay included 2 couples and 2 ladies. The couples had the rooms with balconies and the ladies shared the “kids” room (full size bed & bunks). The only complaint with the kids room was that there was no fan (obviously no ceiling fan with bunk beds). There needs to be a stand fan because it gets too warm. That caused the people in that room to want the a/c too low & we were cold! The kitchen/dining room/living room area was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, except for a sharp knife and a decent cutting board (NOT glass!). There were sheets available for the hideabed (we didn’t use). The balcony was awesome, beautiful furniture and a spectacular view! Couldn’t ask for more! The king and queen bedrooms were very nice, with balconies. They needed more/better pillows. The bathrooms were mostly fine, but not updated, which was fine because it would just cause the price to be more. In the queen room, it definitely needs the shower caulking to be replaced. It’s black and ugly. It was great having 3 bathrooms. What a plus! Overall, it was a great stay and we appreciated having the parking for 2 vehicles included (although we ended up only needing one). Contact and response by VACASA was great.

Nice Location & Fantastic Views But AC & Mold Issues Were Troubling

The Location is nice, rite on the beach. However, the AC was not working. It was 80 degrees inside wen we arrived and it took >24 hours before it was finally repaired. Customer service did not answer the phone which rang for more than 35 Min before I gave up. I tried texting customer support which eventually responded about 1 hour later. The AC repair people arrived late on the following day and were able to resolve a problem with the rooftop compressor unit. Our guest complained about the presence of black mold in the guest room shower. The mold issue should be corrected ASAP as it could pose a health problem. As previously stated, the location is very nice and the views are fantastic from this 16th floor penthouse, however, some deferred maintenance items are in need of immediate attention.

Not a good value for the money

Great location - just steps away from the beach. But the property is in need of upgrading ie. towels were treadbare; one comforter was soiled (the replacement was no better); shower curtain old and needs replacing. Limited pots and pans. No lobby on the property so limited security. Next time will search for different property in the same area.

Great views!!!

The best thing of all were the views!!! It was so beautiful!! The unit was well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and coffee maker!! The location was close to restaurants and shops. The only suggestions I have is for them to include more thorough information for the amenities and the checkout responsibilities. I had to call the property management company for the pool code, and I never found out where the gym was located and if it was a code for it. I also had to call and find out specifics on what they wanted us to do with the linen. It would be perfect if these were listed on the refrigerator or sent in an email or text. Overall, a great property.

Beautiful view

It was a beautiful stay. The view was great. The balcony’s were great. The condo was clean and easy to use. A bit smaller than we expected but it was homey and it worked out great for my family. The parking in the garage was an unexpected plus! I would recommend to anyone.

Great family size condo

Pool was not always heated during my stay. I hate that their is no restroom at the pool. With all the construction going on you would think they would put in a restroom near the pool. Condo was great for large family and friends. Almost everything we needed.

Great Views

Great views, right on the Gulf. Found several dishes that had to be rewashed and scrubbed. Ice maker is very noisy. Toilet in master needs to be replaced. Outdoor furniture needs to be replaced also.

Unclean, but a good stay anyway

Property wasn't cleaned well at all. There was even still food on the dishes and utensils. The beds are like rock slabs. Beautiful view, though. Close to amenities. We had a great stay despite the cleanliness.

Nice condo

We had a great time and the property suited our needs well. The rooms aren't huge but it was nice to have a bathroom with each bedroom. We were able to fit 2 children (2yo and 3yo) in separate beds in the master bedroom fairly easily. Really nice to be right on the beach (one of our main requirements) but know that there is no additional bathroom in the building downstairs and only 2 elevators for 15 floors, so it can take awhile to get back up to the unit.
