Really enjoyed the home, the beds were perfect, the AC was amazingggggg how cold the rooms got & the location was perfect for our family to spend time at the beach and to walk back to check on our pups that stay in a crate when we are not around!

We recently stayed at the Salty Lime for a month, and it was wonderful! Beach was beautiful with a few minute walk to get to. The beach and neighborhood is very dog friendly. The home was clean upon arrival and very comfortable for our relaxing month stay!

Charming cottage vibe. We enjoyed the solitude of the Ft. Morgan beach in January.

Growing up in an era where the cottage was the only house type on the beach, we really enjoyed Salty Lime. The interior is functional and roomy. The decor is a tasteful beach theme. Beach access is close and pet friendly. Only negative was we couldn’t find an ice cream scoop lol.

House was as described. Appliances were basically brand new. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything that you needed. TV’s were also very good. Only negative were the beach chairs that were provided were in pretty bad shape. If we come to the gulf shores area again, I wouldn’t hesitate staying at Salty Lime again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Salty Lime. The house was furnished with everything we needed for the week and the walk to the beach was perfect! It took us 2 minutes to get to the sand. The provided beach cart was helpful. We will definitely be returning!

The property is cute, house is easy to find, spacious. I loved the kitchen table with the turn table center, great for game playing. Had everything we needed for our weeks stay. Perfect access to beach. I don’t own a pet but would recommend for pet owners.

Our stay at the Salty Lime was so enjoyably! The location was great and the beaches were stunning. Very short walk to the beach, no worries you can leave your chairs and beach things out there and not drag them back and forth every day. The only thing that could use some improvement is the air in the master bedroom/ bathroom. Other than that and the pesky mosquitos everything was perfect. Definitely recommend!

Great Stay at Salty Lime

Our family of four and a dog stayed at Salty Lime for a week in early May. The house was clean, well-stocked and adorable! We especially loved having both a front and a back porch, one that was covered for shade, and one that was in the sun. The beds here were some of the most comfortable of any other place that I’ve stayed. It is a very short walk to the beach, and is on a peaceful and quiet street. Pam Martin was great about staying in contact with us throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Salty Lime for a beach getaway. We will book again!

Salty Lime

This was a perfectly sized place for the 5 adults and 3 dogs. It was a very short walk to the beach. We had a most exceptional time here. There is a small market “The Sassy Bass” just 5 minutes from us and they had everything we needed. We enjoyed getting to know some of the neighbors and their dogs. It is just a 5 minute drive the other way to the Ferry to Mobile. I would recommend this stay for small families who have pets.

Salty Lime Beach house

Liked the inside layout of the house. It was set up nice and decorated cute. We liked the back patio new furniture, but the front patio furniture was older and would have liked newer and more comfortable furniture to hang out on. It’s just a personal preference since we enjoy sitting on the deck. It was a very close walk to the beach, which was nice!! The beach cart was good and was a welcome addition with the wide wheels. Overall we would recommend the Salty Lime beach house.

Old school raised cottage brought up to modern expectations

I wanted to rent something like one of the raised cottages the family owned when I was a kid. Salty Lime fills the bill. It's an old school type raised cottage that meets today's expectations and has been well kept. It fit the description presented. Clean, well outfitted, well maintained. I was pleased that the stacked washer/dryer were full sized. It was perfect for a small gathering of family & friends. We had 3 overnighting and 9-10 in/out during the day. It never felt crowded. I would rent again.

Wonderful time at the Salty Lime!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Salty Lime. We had 6 adults, a 3 year old, and a 1 year old and there was plenty of room. The location was wonderful, with the beach a short walk away and the house itself was cute and easy to find with the lime green color. There was a tacky jacks 2 minutes away and other things weren't too far. It was also super quiet from noise outside and the bedrooms were quiet too. The deck was awesome. The outside showers under the stairs were a lifesaver to get all the sand off. I really appreciated that the host had made a plug in spot on both sides of every bed. Drawers and shelves were also a bonus to help us organize our belongings. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was a wonderful stay and we would love to come back sometime!

Perfect pet friendly beach house!

I was a little worried about this house being a bit of a drive outside of the main tourist area of Gulf Shores, but it was perfect! The house was beautiful, great layout, very clean, the beds were super comfy! I loved the two porches that our dog could safely enjoy with us. It’s so close to the beach that you can see the water from both the front and back porch. The beach is gorgeous and quiet. Our dog loved being able to take long walks and play in the water. Having the outdoor shower was super helpful for cleaning the dog after beach trips and they also provide doggie waste bags outside which was a nice surprise. They do have some beach items available that previous guests have left behind. I saw toys, a wagon, multiple umbrellas, a camping type chair and we did use a couple things. The only thing that would be nice is to have some beach chairs available to use. It was kind of a pain to bring our own. Tacky Jacks restaurant is close enough to walk to, which we did one night. We all thought the food was delicious and the sunset on the bay was beautiful. Fort Morgan, right down the street, is worth a visit too. I’ve stayed in several condos and houses on the gulf coast and this is probably my favorite. I felt very at home there. I would absolutely stay at the Salty Lime again, especially if I was bringing my dog. I don’t think you can beat the pet friendly location!
